Tonight, I brought back to life a pioneer farmsaw that was sitting for a long time. I got it in a load of parts saw I bought from my local power equipment guy. This farm saw was in a box by itself with a tag that said "no spark". Shocker I know. Also the recoil wasn't working correctly. It even has a decent bar and a really good chain.
I was able to get a spring thing off another saw and recoil was fixed. I checked saw over very well before purchasing an aftermarket coil off fleabay. With a new coil, fuel lines and fuel filter, I gased it up, and it runs great.
Tomorrow I plan on getting it into some wood and see how it does. I can hear it begging to run hard. Once I get it tuned, I just may have to sell it.
