If I recall correctly both the fuel and oil tank on my 3200 have sheet metal halves that are epoxied into the aluminum castings, I always assumed this was a weight savings measure.
the 3200 shares a bunch of parts with similar era pioneers, clutches, rod bearings, etc. does yours still have the door over the spark plug?
I found the red kote at a radiator supply place, Pacific Radiators, on the Langley bypass. Pretty sure a qt will do me for a long time. If you need a tank done I'll loan you the can I have.
