i thought 090 were 137ccs?
Stock 090`s are 137cc. There were a few 090`s special limited number that were 10 cube saws. Very, very scarce so they don`t show up next to never.

Still getting replies from the CT seller, he still thinks the saw is what he has it listed at. I have asked him to measure the bore to make sure of what the saw really has done to it, also related some of the conditions re. eBay selling, will see what the replies are.

He put in a small disclaimer in his ad for that saw. It appears that the official stance is to stick with the original claim, however if that claim turns out to be incorrect, he isn't liable.
I sent him 5 different messages through eBay and he started to see that he could be liable if he stated something that was not true so he added changes to his description but it actually comes off like he is just waffling. We will see how that goes. Saw sold for $338.33, kind of high for a Dolmar CT.

Speaking of that dolmar CT...I was watching it to. Funny how the winning bidder has ZERO feedback and is now no longer a registered user. :deadhorse:

There is lots of funny business going on with eBay auctions, way too many underhanded dealings to make bidding on things really worthwhile. I have run a couple of test runs on a few items lately, if I bid a maximum amount on an item before the last couple of seconds before closing then that item has within seconds gone up to my maximum bid and just stay right there until closing, I get the item but it is just too much coincedence that it goes for the exact amount of my max. bid. The practice of getting friends to start a bidding war is well known but how the sellers are figuring out what the max. bids are ahead of closing time is a new one on me.

Use a sniping service then jerry.
I just tried one out the other day. Worked real well. Was for a Foredom grinder, the starting price was $99, I put max bid of $150 in the sniper, then when was all said and done, I got it for $92??? Go figure? Only thing I can think of was the sellers last ditch effort to sell, that he dropped the price within the last couple hours of the auction to try and sell.
I do use a sniping service but I also sometimes dabble on low cost items not caring if I get them or not, I thought I seen a pattern developing so I persued it a little further and found the same results on 5 different occasions the seller found out my max bid, stopped right on the penny and I won the part. That is too much of a coincedence for me. Even on two of my latest sniped bids the total came to my max bid, on one item the price was at $210 just seconds before the close of the auction, 2-3 seconds after the auction closed I got the info that I had won with my bid of $275. ,there was no bids between the lower bid of $210. and my max. bid of $275.

I have been lurking around here for a long time and reading and now it is time for me to post.
I am cleaning up and and getting a 112 running that belonged to my grandfather and was looking for a parts diagram. Can anyone help?
I seem to be missing a part on the oil tank vent as it is wide open and wants to leak when you have the saw side ways.
Is the fitting that the fuel line plug into that goes in the tank just pressed in?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also this is a great thread.
So Who ended up getting that CT???????
