it may be a dream, but do any of you have a 143 P/C or parts rig laying around??? i know, it's a dream......

I'd just like to find a full wrap handle for my 133. Made a mistake a while back and missed one in Germany.

Anyone got a spare?!

I just wanted to pass along some thanks to AS member "Diggers_Dad" from the Alpena area! He hooked me up today with a Sachs 112 parts saw, & a little Sachs 100 limb saw! Thanks Marc!!

Hmm, I need one too.

There was a thread a few months back where someone took a Stihl Module and put it on the Bosch unit and ran great. (the coil must be good for this to work)
If memory serves, the Stihl Module was $25 bucks? Try a search for Bosch Ignitions, it may show up.

Good thread Jerry

This IS the Sachs Dolmar thread!

So I will post up my Christmas present (Thanks Mom)

Was hoping to wait until I got my 50" Cannon for it but looks like I will be waiting on a rim and drum now.

Custom spikes made by yours truly;

Pay no attention to my sig.it is a bit out dated!

That 153 came with a really nice stock muffler, took one off my 152, hit it with the rosebud, split it and gutted the insides.

Well I must say, this is THE loudest saw I have!

Now don't you purists get your panties in a wad, I kept the stock one stock.

But this one has a sound that is,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,'Priceless"

It looks like a dung beetle from the side and the muffler looks like a ghost face. ROFl. I'm sure its pretty loud as my 152 with triple port is loud.

This saw is tuned VERY FAT. It's had alot of work done and now being a fun saw does not need to be leaned out. Unless someone calls it out.

Wait until you see "stage 3"

I have to dream up sumthin' to hold up a 50".

May just copy the si spikes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, only bigger!

Fuel mix

I recently purchased a 120si that hasn't run in quite a while. It didn't take much to get her running. All my other saws are husqvarna which call for a 50:1 fuel mix. My research shows dolmars call for a 40:1 This saw feels real strong and I don't want to cause any damage. Should I keep a special 40:1 mix for this saw?

I personally run 40:1 in all my saws using modern good quality two stroke mix oils, this ratio gives superior protection to the moving parts.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like good advice. I've decided to read this entire thread and have learned a wealth of information on these Dolmars. Just want to say thanks to all of you for making this possible. I see some more of these saws in my future: espicaly if they run like this 120si! Can anyone reccomend a 50cc class saw that will impress?
