So yesterday I was heading up I-23 in Michigan, looked across the expressway and saw 6 logs on a trailer, that was the whole load! Six 8'6"(guessing based on the trailer length) logs, 2 on the front, 2 in the middle, and 2 on the back. Biggest sticks I've seen on a trailer in a long time. Pretty sure it was red oak, they were all the way to the edge of the trailer, which was most likely a 98" or 102" wide trailer. So I'm guessing they calculated each stick was about 8-10k. Big buggers!

Been trying to get a picture of this HVO, it's only about a foot off the house, and it's quite large, but not as large as the sticks on that trailer. One day it will be sunny and noone will be behind me and I'll stop and get a good picture, but for now...
It's the one just right of the "well" pruned tree
. Never understood that, just cut the nasty thing down and be done with it!
