BeautifulOne of our volunteers just hiked most of our adopted river trail, none of us had been that far in since November. The winter has kept us out, with rock slides and washouts. The 8 mile dirt road is closed to vehicles and foot traffic, so he had to get a permit to enter a closed area from the Forest Service, and hike the 8 miles to the trailhead. This was done at their request, they’re throwing gobs of money at them for repairs to storm damaged trails. They wanted us to document damage, to show need for the money. She said it could potentially be used to hire a crew, or rent/purchase equipment.
We put a trail through here last year, he said the picture doesn’t do it justice.

I don’t even recognize this spot anymore. There was no clearing through the brush and trees, and no exposed rocks/boulders.

Between our camp and the river, this sand wasn’t there. The water was closer.

He said it was slow going with brush and trees in the trail, and thick vegetation.

Can you find me a mid 90’s F-150 or F-250 with a single cab, long bed, rot free, 4WD, with at least a gas V8? These trucks with simplicity are hard to find in good shape in my region. I can find them here but they are almost ready to drop their beds from rot.I really hope you get like $10k knocked off that price tag.
Yup I agree, it's some kind of juniper. They thought it was juniper, I’m not really sure

I paid $2k cash for my 96 f250 super cab. Basically no rot on it. Was on a dealers back lot, they traded it and were going to send it to the auction. No one wants big blocks these days. Was on that like fat kid on chocolate cake. Uncle has the identical truck to mine just blue and not white, he grabbed his up for $4500.00 Sorry, but it's not worth $16k I'm not being a arse about it either. Heck the truck only cost little over $20k brand new. Truthfully they arnt anymore or less complicated then any of the 2000-05 trucks. Can you find me a mid 90’s F-150 or F-250 with a single cab, long bed, rot free, 4WD, with at least a gas V8? When did you buy it? Today's prices are insane compared to just a few years back.I paid $2k cash for my 96 f250 super cab. Basically no rot on it. If you want your mule deer free of ticks and such, you need magpies. Here's a little buck, a yearling I think. They accept the help from the magpies, but when this bird crawled onto the little guys's head he would shake it off. On his back--no problem, do your thing, bird.
This on the Kings?
A lot of them, especially the 2wd ones were beat to death by employees of the companies that had them. XL series anyway. Seems like more XLT's were owned by individuals. Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it.Can you find me a mid 90’s F-150 or F-250 with a single cab, long bed, rot free, 4WD, with at least a gas V8?
