Every local gal who has divorced in the last few years up here that I would consider a “catch” is still with the first man they’ve dated after finalizing their divorce.

You can find a hot mess express that will be a lot of fun for a short time but I’ll guarantee there’s a reason why she’s single.

Are these screenshots? Where's the link
US stock return saws from Farmmac and Neotec for anyone interested. The customer service person contacted me to see if I was interested. Some simply returned because the customer couldn’t start it. Some like the 892 were either flooded or the base gasket issue like my two had. I can’t rule out other types of air leaks. Either way could be of interest to some of you.View attachment 1077477View attachment 1077478View attachment 1077479View attachment 1077480View attachment 1077481View attachment 1077482View attachment 1077483View attachment 1077484View attachment 1077485View attachment 1077486

True

By far the best bet is to compete for the ones who are very recently divorced....if their ex was an ******* you might get lucky and get a good one.
I can give you referrals... found out about another one last evening. Have known her for about 10 years. She's a terrific woman whose ex fits the description...

There's this late 20's early 30's office girl at work. Good personality, can hold a conversation with her and talk about anything, religious, kind and considerate. She knows how to cook. She's pretty good looking too, but always single and relationships don't seem to last long. Often wondered what's wrong with her, is she nuts, clingy, into whips and handcuffs? Just odd. I would have though some guy would have scooped her up years ago.

I haven’t been up at all, and I haven’t heard anything about that creek. The F.S. snow groomer said yesterday that they did a snow survey at Kaiser Meadow, and there was 10-12 feet of snow.
Wow, only 10-12’ at the meadow this early. Either that area didn’t get nearly as much as predicted or the melt has really taken off.
there are pics of the Edison store completely buried with just a tiny triangle of 2nd story roof showing above the snow field. That was in the early 70s, I believe. They are at just under 7900’.

Just checked with Jim. That 12' is nearly solid ice, not really a snow pk. Sierra Cement.
And way more than that at the pass. More than he's seen in 30 yrs of going up there.

Either she’s a closet B or (more likely) has very poor taste and has passed on better guys before choosing the ones she’s flamed out with.

Good looking women are hit on almost constantly by guys… And ultimately the ones they choose are usually duds. They actually make a game out of shutting down guys.

Could be she's not interested in anything serious... a catch and release type dater. Which could be deemed a defect by suiters. 😉

Hello bros

Saw you all and few others on this thread:
opeeforum.com/threads/neotec-660-clone.24650/

I’ve got 3 Neotec 660 clones now. Ran em strong to get rings settled and right now they are pretty good. Porting, timing, and any deburring work is beyond my tool capabilities right now. The third saw I bought from that customer return list I posted the other day. Other than having a good supply of parts for these saws now is there anything to consider for longevity? I don’t know that spending the time now (which I have none of) to buy the necessary tools and do it myself is worth it other than the skills gained to further my knowledge base. For three of these I’m only out $500. Skinflinting to the max 🤣
I don't have any experience with the Neotech, but I hear they are better than the early kit saws that I played with. Also sounds like you got some real good deals.

The clone kits were a real learning experience with both saw building and at home porting. I have several, and friend and relatives are happily using other
660 or 440 clones that I built.

Mine have been holding up very well, but I run them on Saber at 40:1. All mine are "worked", and I think the clone saws may have bearings that are not the same quality as OEM, so a little extra oil protection is cheap insurance. Actually, I run that mix in all my saws, and will continue to do so, it works well.

I did some on-line dating when I was a single parent (between marriages). Was kinda scary!

A lot of them didn't tell you lot of things they should have, and others just lied. The descriptions people give of themselves were almost never accurate.

Met someone that seemed really great on the first date ... and she expressed the same for me. Then, on the second date, she got so controlling I didn't walk away, I ran!

Some had no interest in knowing my kids, and a few others were just too interested!

Wasted a lot of money (I didn't have at the time) on dinners!

It is just tough out there, and it does seem like all the good ones are taken, so I agree with Steve's tactic. A lot of good people marry bad people then try to make it work. And the sad reality is that many good women cling to abusive husbands and won't let go and vice versa. It is a strange phenomenon.

I run Maxflow filters on Stihl saws whenever possible since HD2's suck (fines, that is), outside of them run 'em like you stole 'em!
