Had another racoon attack in the coop, lost 2 more layers. I had put wire fence top to bottom including the roof. A possum had chewed holes on the chicken wire. I even put barb wire loops along the top. I have a 38" long have a heart trap to catch the raccoon but it trips it and backs out of it. Anyone have a good trap for raccoons? It turned out that they crawled in from the bottom in a space the size of a 2-4. in the run to the coop I have 22 eggs in the incubator. I hope they are fertile, haven't seen the rooster going after the hens, with my luck he only liked the birds that were killed.

I have the same basic truck as Mike. It’s a 2018 that I found on a lot the last day of 2019 and picked it up the first day of 2020. Window sticker was $51,000, it was on clearance for $35,000. I have 75,000 miles on it and never a speck of trouble. It pulls my 10,000 pound dump trailer with no problem. I think people didn’t like the color, and was told it was a one year color, Magma Red. Clean, sitting in the shade it looks UPS Brown, in the sun, it looks like polished copper with tons of metal flake. In the rain it looks black.
If thats the color I think it is it looks awesome in the sun. There a guy on the way to my parents house with a newer lifted 1500 short bed. Darn near looks like a new penny. Really like the color.

I like the .22wmr v-max type traps for chicken-murdering coons.

Got the wife's escape all back together, just in time for the rain to set in. Went and drove it around till the emission monitors reset, no more p0420 codes. I suspect the idiot I bought it from drove it around missing for a while. He didn't seem too bright. 😕. The front cat had a hole melted through it and the back (firewall) cat actually looked ok. But whatever it's ready for inspection. I'm pretty sure I'll be putting tires on it soon as well, they are getting pretty dry rotted. Planty of tread, but then again that's how tires get replaced on my wife's vehicles. She usually is right around 5k miles a years. I have that on the vw since I got it in February.

Okay, no nevermind, not going to happen. I have in my garage a 550XP MKII, (2) 372XP OEM'S, 272XP, 268 with a 272XP big bore setup, 394XP, 435, 440 and a top handle Stihl somewhere in hiding. I think that is way too many saws. After I clean up a few and run them they will be leaving to go where they can be put to work. All I need is the 550XP, 440, 394XP and my original 372XP. The rest I bought to clean, fix and resell. There is a big market here for the early 2 and 3 series professional saws.
Bah...ask Bill G about the 600+ he has ...not including the full pallets yet to be inventoried, lol

Made a “new” spray booth . Worked out well I just had to add another fan as it wasn’t clearing the overspray fast enough . Was going to buy one of those $ 1000 blow up ones off of Amazon but to just do one hood wasn’t worth it . I pretty much had everything on hand for this homemade job .

I'll check it out thanks
Yup, it's called a 220 Conibear!

They are the only way to deal with them!!

SR
got to do something. Once they get a taste for them it's time to go. Not to mention revenge. We had chicken parts under the coop.

Went to a party at MechanicMatt's today ... was real nice! His oldest daughter graduated HS. Lots of folks there including both my daughters and my grandkids, one of his sisters and family, and all 3 of his wife's sisters and their kids.

Played volleyball and drank wine and beer, and then some iced tea before going home. He also had the cornhole game and a pool.

His pig is as big as a hippo, and I got to check out his classic Model 95 ... a factory 405 with factory peep sights and factory sling swivels ... a real sweet gun!

Luckily, the weather stayed better than was predicted. Was a good time.

Dog proof traps for coon. Tuna fish, cat/dog food, marshmallow, etc. at the bottom.

Easy peasy.
