What sport bike.
I rode a 500xr that I rebuilt from the ground up, I had quite the lean going when I stopped lol. It was a great bike on trails or at the dunes after a good rain, the yz250 had a paddle for when it was dry there.
I'm thinking of getting another golf cart(sold my last one) just in case the neighborhood ever has an bad apples.

Ninja 400. amazing handling bike. parallel twin Fi. only 360lbs. very popular track bike right now so I had to try it. sport bikes are just not my thing and they are 100% cop magnets. noting against police officers but the stereotypes of sport bike rides really makes them cop magnets.

But you could make 4 equal payments so what's stopping you? 😉
I saw that lol. I just agreed to pay half down on another grinder, then the other half when I pick it up, so that's currently stopping me. Also, gonna be spending some big cash on the barn and the kids schooling in the next couple months. Add all that up and I've probably hit my spending limit for the rest of the yr :envy: :envy: :envy: :envy: :envy: , although you know other expenses will come up that can't wait.
But maybe when I have time to list a few things on craigslist I can buy a few of them :).

I have a 2003 Honda ST1100P ex police bike in white. It is the last year for the ST1100P and only made that year strictly for the police. I have only been stopped once on it for speeding at over 20mph over the limit. Funny thing is the cop owned a Harley. He noticed the police light/siren switches on my right handlebar and had to know the history on the bike. I received no ticket or warning. He was a good guy. He said that he didn't want to ruin my 20 years without a ticket.

I think I remember that now, very light bike.
Those pesky cops never liked seeing me go by on the back tire, or maybe it was the part where they couldn't catch, never mind .
I still have a few rolling chassis' in the basement, once the barn is finished I'll probably build at least 2. They are like giant snap together models, but I have one that I customized, so that one will need "a bit" of fab work to get it rolling. As it is it's stretched 6" and lowered about 4, I can even sit on it with my feet flat . The chassis is a 96-99 750 GSXR, I have a set of prime chrome rims on it, 07-08 black forks(gold 05-06 for the mock up), and a Harley Rocker seat for it. I just need to fab a set of running boards, mount some forward controls and 3 headlights, and fab a rear tire hugger fender for it. I have no idea what exhaust I'll run, but most likely I'll need to buy a tuner because the airbag will be different than stock also. The computer and fuse panel will all be enclosed inside the airbag to hide it since the bike will not have the typical tail/rear seat like on most sport bikes.
Don't think they won't look at you just as much on that big thumper, they will, especially if you ride it like the sport bike :).

The specs made me wonder if this was done as a joke or, among others, if they are going after the old school obstetrics market? ;)

...after all, that's where chainsaws originated. 🤣
I was wondering about that too, not sure why you'd advertise that way, maybe for these guys who buy that little one handed stihl battery saw, not sure how long that chain is?

Yesterday the wife and I both tested positive for damn Covid. Pissing me right off for sure. We went to a funeral on Friday. By Sunday morning I woke up with a really bad sore throat. Honey calmed that right down. We were away Sunday night at the casino and came back on Monday. The good part was that we netted $1260 from them. Yesterday my wife started getting sick. We both tested positive for Covid. I did another test this morning and tested positive again. I'm hanging around waiting for my doctor to call for the Covid prescription for both of us. Still lightheaded with a runny nose and sore throat. Otherwise I feel fine. My wife feels rundown, runny nose and a bad headache. We will be fine shortly.

Those are sweet bikes.
I've always wanted one(and an RC51 :sweet:), had the VFR and the VTR, both were fun.
The pics of the VFR were lost in the great crash of 2014. I lost like 2k pic right after leaving @Sawyer Rob house, so we can blame it on him lol. It was a red one, looked just like the rest of them, but with custom exhaust/ had a power commander and the bar risers. Fun ride for sure.
Here's the VTR.

I have lots to say about that, but...
Hope you guys feel better soon :).

And yes I gotta run now @WoodAbuser :hi:.

I installed a set of Heli bars on mine due to my back. I love that style of bike and wished I had gotten one many many years ago. I use to ride Goldwings mostly. I would buy one, fix it up, ride it for a year or two and sell it once I found another one. I always made money on them. This one I have owned for over 10 years. Yes, I'll get you a picture of it when I am feeling a bit better.

We didn't know that we had Covid before we went to the casino. We had already planned this night out and paid for the hotel room in advance. The only symptom that I had before leaving was the sore throat.

Common flu bordering on a common cold. You will be fine shortly. Get well Jim and wife.

Thanks, that is what I thought too. During Covid I had 6 different surgeries and always tested negative on a Covid test prior to the surgeries. I tested positive last night and again this morning.

I’ve had it three times since 2019. I work face to face with patients and that timeframe from Jan-May was terrible. Changed the course of healthcare permanently too.

Nonetheless it’s a flu and the damage done by the government, hospital admins, doctors, .orgs, and state/local officials will be a dark period in history going forward.

One word…Ivermectin.

Remember, those test kits are only about 50% accurate…might just be a regular flu.

Wonder how old these are . I’ve had them since 1991 Schaefer beer Brooklyn NY

Edit: the Brooklyn brewery closed in 1976

The foundation of my family's home, built by my father, is reinforced by Schaefer beer cans... those with can opener holes in the top. I know this from moving a doorway in one of the basement partition walls. 🙄
