Morning calisthenics! C'mon guys, try to keep up! ;)
If I were you, I would use a semi-transparent stain on those handles, or you will be replacing them!

The Behr Premium - Chocolate from HD works well for me. (The solid stain tends to peel on older wood, the semi-transparent adheres and lasts much better).

I have applied BLO to wheelbarrow handles in the past, but some kind of protection is probably a good idea. I wonder what kind of old stain I can find in my stash. 🤔

You need to up ur game , H Ranch ,Lol 👍😆
I have thought that a 10 cu ft capacity 'barrow would be nice many times. But I don't recall ever seeing a plastic one in person that wasn't broken. I'm not a fan of two wheelers, though I've never owned one. They are certainly not as good for PT use to practice balancing skills, so that is part of my reasoning there.

You can load a 1/2 a face cord ,Lol 😆

I have both and prefer ol faithful single wheel. You have to baby plastic tubs especially when it's cold out.

As a general rule, I really like kubota. Like their engines, tractors, mowers. But, we had a ton of issues with a 75hp M series not being able to handle the Alamo fail mower we bought it for. 3 point arms breaking at the lower transmission mount. Happened multiple times, with different operators, including myself and my boss. Neither of us are hard on equipment. Supposedly it was a casting flaw. Shortly after it was fixed for the 4th time, the top cover on the transmission developed a leak. Basically it got lemon lawed in a sense. Ended up with a new Holland t4.75 after trading the kubota back into the dealer we got it from and very little money out. I was very disappointed, I really fought to get the kubota over the newholland or a deere. The newholland was in fact built heavier out back. We found out at a later date it was a specific issue to running the Alamo flail mower.(and mowers like it.) Something about the weight and how it cantilevered the 3 point when it was stretched out the whole way. We never had an issue with the new Holland.
Very interesting. Never had any issues with either of my M9's in the years I've owned them. Very reliable and I use a 12 foot wide LP bat wing a lot too.

My only issue with Kubota's in general is the weak PTO brake pack but I run an over running coupler on any implement that don't have one built in. That mitigates pack plate failure. Of course in Kubota's infinite wisdom, the only way you can replace the plates (in the PTO brake basket) or the PTO pack itself, is to split the unit, consequently, I'm always cognizant of the fact and treat my clutch packs carefully and maintain the correct clamping pressure as well.

For normal cutting, I prefer the 25", but since I've been using this cutting table recently (I don't know if I've posted any pictures of this before? I stole the idea from a guy on YouTube), and I really like using the 28" bar when using the table. I can cut an additional log when using it. I also really like not having to be bent over all day when bucking rounds. My back sure appreciates it when spending a few hours down in the processing area.

that is quite the cutting rig!

Price check on a 49 Farmall Cub. It runs moves and stops. The hydraulic lift works for the sickle bar mower. My elderly neighbor wants to move it out. He no longer uses it. The gas tank is not rusted up. I got it running today and took it out for a spin around his property.
nice! looks like it still can do plenty of work. i would like to have it, just to start it up. i got me a 1954 chevy pickup down in one of my S-40's. in sandy soil up to axles...trees thru engine bay and where bed goes... up to about 20/25' now. i would like to have it out of that position, even as derelict as it is... on blocks... up by the main house. i would enjoy seeing it parked there. it's doable... and... imo, restorable!

been there mostly likely for few decades even before my time there...
:drinkingcoffee:

Best of luck with it. I never did choose to compete at that distance (did 5K, 5Mile and 10K).

Something about the original guy who did it not faring too well!

Be careful, hydrate, and pace yourself. It is long enough to hurt you if you do it wrong!
13 miles is as far as i have ever jogged. twice. as a USMC Vet... jogging was a way of life. 3-mile runs more times than i can count! i was a jogger for many years. always got a good dose of runner's hig! even off bike riding. only takes 1 mile as a min. now i am a bike rider. knowing what i know now, i would have preferred to be just a bike rider. well, other than those times in 'the crotch'... when there was no alternative choice. lol -

US Marines... running for fun! 😋

"ohh-rah!"

So, since I’m not as frequent a visitor as I once was, I forgot the names of the frequent guys

But I bet, the fella with all the wheelbarrow pics, he got forearms like Popeye and a damn kung-fo grip
LOL, he must. i am impressed with both his strength and sense of balance... makes The KId's overloads seem like a walk in the park!

We got a dealer for them in town not too long ago. Don't know much about them. Tym tractors showed up at another dealer when they got rid of cub cadet/yanmar.
As afar as rear remotes, most dealers around here order larger tractors with at least 2 on them. There's a pretty strong farming presence here though and idk anyone that wants any less then 2 and most seem to prefer 3 rear remotes.
neighbor bot one. 45 hp or thereabouts. he likes it!

Ha! You guys would be surprised. Mostly, it's a matter of desire, not physical size, that drives me to accomplish things. I sometimes tell others, "Don't motivate me!" when they are being uncooperative; meaning that I will dedicate the effort to do what it takes to make it not worth it to do things their way. You may liken it to an old saying about it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog.
hi H-R - know just what u mean....

good tip! on both points. those handles seem to me to have plenty life still in him. especailly if he keeps it in his barn or shed. but point well taken. my dually, 10 cu ft $10 Garage Sale Special... has handles like that. rock solid. but up front at the wheels the wood is consideralby worse off... but sill holding its own.

i like the color of the stain, even if pricey. $48+/gallon

looks log cabin brown to me!! 🤩

wood looks solid, but no doubt could be improved. laquer/oil-based would be best, imo... vs water clean up

i admire his tenacity... but for the life of me... still wondering why not a two-wheeled version?? 10 cu ft 🤔
i have one up at the ranch... a semi-restored steel bucket, single wheel. good wood, good wheel; modded up w/solid tire! also, it has a name...
