So, when are we going to hear how much the fires in CA have contributed to global warming, and how the toxins released create cancer for people in CA???

And they are concerned about gas stoves, wood burning stoves and leaf blowers!!!

You just can't make this stuff up!

Being anal about the small things while ignoring/facilitating the major disasters seems like a pretty dumb environmental policy to me.

I think if my house had burned down, and I had lost everything I own, I would want to tar and feather a few politicians!
Mike, there'd be a long line in front of you.............

I can't justify the cost of a new machine, and I grew tired of $500 beater trail sleds. No more fish coops either. At 53, I'm back to pulling a small jet sled by hand, scratching out meals closer to access points and picking out days when I can set on a bucket without dying of hypothermia. Never been happier honestly.
Sounds like a good plan. There aren't too many lakes around here where one can catch quality fish close to shore. All the small lakes are hammered constantly. There's a 10 acre lake near my house that will have 10-20 shacks on it on the weekends. There's Lake Winnebago but that requires driving with something to get to the fishing spots and I refuse to risk my truck.
Could get one of these!:envy:

Saw quite a few in South Dakota.

Sure hope you make it OK Lee, 9 just doesn't seem like enough .
I did the same thing when I started the barn build, sold a bunch of very clean 70cc saw, stock, modded, and ported...
Hope you like the new trolling motor.
Maybe you should get a faster boat too.

I should be ok when it comes to the chainsaws. The 084 was such a cool saw but was pretty pointless for me. Couldn't justify keeping it.
The trolling motor will open up more possibilities for me. I will be able to troll Lake Michigan alone or with my boys. Should reduce the stress level.

Love those guys! I always liked watching the Farmtruck beat up on fine Italian sports cars.

May as well just put a pond in under your living room!

I'm up at the cabin with a daughter, grandson and granddaughter.

We have about 8" of snow and it is 20*, overcast and windy, so you feel it a bit.

Glad the upstairs (sleeping area) is insulated, that solid 2" stuff made quite a difference. However, with the addition of the bathroom, it really takes the downstairs a long time to get warm. We got up about 9 last night. Had to cut one tree out of the way.

There's a fair amount of pressure around here today. If Saginaw Bay was froze up and safe for travel, none of them would be up here.

Simple, just look at the NY Justice System.
I was delighted to see the Feds recently applied the Hobbs Act to a strong arm home invasion in my county. The county DA has mangled cases and failed to prosecute cases repeatedly… But he’s a democrat in a democrat strong county so it’s not likely he’ll be kicked to the curb any time soon.

I hope you guys realize my post was meant to be a joke about the namesake of the Audubon Society. All the birds he painted were shot first.
Back in 1986 I read a book from the ‘50s or ‘60s about him. It claimed he also caught birds and killed them with CO. I didn’t see that assertion repeated in a Google search… I know it was ‘86 as I was in Key West on a bicycle trip and went by the Audubon House… I happened upon the book in a used book store so I bought it and read it in my tent at night.

Here's some justice for you!

Last Saturday my nephew, who is an ABSOLUTE bad ass, had someone kick his door in at 4:30 am. (he has a temporary VA apartment in a quite bad part of town) Of course, it woke him up, so he sprinted towards the noise and a guy was in his apartment! The guy ran but my nephew caught him on the porch and the guy turned to fight. Almost immediately my nephew punched him so hard in the throat it put the guy out and he went down.

He then drug him out to the street and threw him into the street and went back in, blocked the door, and went back to bed. Someone saw the guy lying in the street and called an ambulance, who showed up, scooped the guy up and took him to the H.

My nephew fell back asleep but later was woke up again with the police banging on the door, but my nephew didn't get up so after a while the cops left and haven't come back.

That's what you call "instant" justice!

Yes, the 5 boroughs, Albany and Rochester area. We are severely outnumbered. But they know what's best for the rest of NY, just ask them.
What county do you live?
My uncle MustangMike is Putnam

I’m in Sullivan

SS396 is close to me in Ulster

I’m gonna guess Grizz is either Dutchess or Columbia

Went to lunch today just because ended up at Cohen’s bakery in Ellenville they have good pastry and really good food . Little confusing though a Jewish bakery owned by Latinos and playing Italian music in the restaurant.
