HOAs can morph into something different, too. I have lived here for 18 years. For the first 15 there were only about 20 houses and the HOA kept out of everyone's business. In the past 2 years they have build 45 houses here, so suddenly the HOA decides they need to enforce a bunch of rules that were never enforced.
According to law, they are barred from enforcing any infraction over 5 years old. So, I probably have an out. But anyone who has experience with the legal system knows it is a PITA, time consuming and expensive if you have to hire a lawyer.

Actually, it is an A-hole arch conservative that thinks he can make rules to enforce on everyone else, but doesn't have to obey himself. Sound familiar?

The subject that I replied to is the type of people that run HOA's. If you want to discuss President's start with the no brain basement dweller that couldn't do anything but F up America and have it invaded. Add in the 13 servicemen killed in a stupid pullout in Afghanistan and left how many millions upon millions of dollars of equipment behind. Then pardoned his entire crooked family from Crimes that they haven't been charged with yet. Then we have crooked Hunter. That issue would take up an entire page. So would the crooked FBI and DOJ. End of story.
I like wd40 for spraying my saws down when cutting pine/other pitchy wood, works great.Thanks for taking the load off some of us. I dislike HOA's too, but I won't waste any energy hating them now. I'll just go back to hating on professional baseball, WD40, slow drivers in the hammer lane, and the like.

Surprised I did not see anyone mention Sea Foam Deep Creep when talking about penetrants. I am really sold on the stuff, have used it to help free up 2 seized tractor engines and a bunch of other nasty fasteners.
Gotta catch it on sale though as its normally $14/can. Napa normally runs it on sale for like $7.99 every so often so ill go buy out their shelf stock lol.

I never heard of that product. I will have to give it a try.

I had not either until I dad and I were trying to get an old Case tractor engine loose. One of my friends I worked with at the time told me to soak it with Deep Creep. 4 days later it was running.
Agreed Matt. The smell of WD-40 brings me back to my dad cleaning his guns when he got home from hunting before I was old enough to go.
It’s never failed me on guns. Also good for wiping down tools. I agree there are definitely better penetrants for loosening rusty bolts.
It is disappointing when you pull out a three-year-old can from the shop and it’s out of propellant though.

I have to admit I do like the way wd-40 smells. I keep a small can around for some reason too. Don't use it for much of anything tough. I switched over to muc-off for a protective spray on plastics/ my rc trucks engines and pipes. Doesn't leave quite the mess all over everything, but seems to work just as well for keeping rust off the pipes.
I'm sure like most of you, I've used a lot of different "rust penetrant" sprays over the years. For all the dumb stuff the shop did, they were on with getting a case and seeing how us road guys liked it. There was a wurth spray and a Kimball Midwest spray that we all generally liked pretty well. Kroil was about the best, but even in case lot orders it's super expensive so they wouldnt buy it often. Pb blaster, deep creep or liquid wrench for an easy to find reasonably priced option (s).
Still like the atf+acetone, but msha and osha don't like concoctions with dubious labels on a service truck. Keep a pint pumper can with some mixed up at home. Usually keep a spray can of pb around too. At the end of the day, rust just sucks and there isn't much tgays cheap that seems to work well.

Messaged a few guys about trucks i want to look at on market place yesterday. So far only one has gotten back to me, he's real close to me. Not the top truck on my list, but he just put in new injectors, had the stand pipes and dummy plugs done while they were in there. Other wise it's a bone stock truck. I know the owner of the shop that did the work, so easy enough to verify. He said he was running to work and the truck just shut off. Had it towed home and went and bought a brand new truck wants it gone. I happen to have a friend doing a 6.0 swap in a bull nose, so I can borrow a few sensors/fcim to see what's wrong with it. He wants $3500.00 for it. From the pictures he's sent + has on market place, it's not really rusty, and fits my needs+ the wife's. Figured I'd go and check it out tomorrow for the heck of it. If it's something stupid like I think it is, it would be a heck of a steal.
This is about the only thing that works on rusty nuts and bolts around here 
I usually don't mess around with 'em myself. Just cut em and get new hardware. Gotta be careful heating up certain hardware, stainless steel parts will almost certainly gall and seized if you try to heat them.

Heat is is probably about 80% of the reason these stupid flat head screws came out of this rad tank. I did not even try to use a screw driver, just welded a nut to it and hit the area where the threads were with map gas.
Took about 15 minutes each of back and forth squeaking, spraying and heating but they finally let go and came out. The 4th ingredient in that process was patience which goes along way sometimes.
At least it's not a "which 2 stroke is better oil thread".
