Don't kill the messenger
Sometimes, i'd like to think, that the invitation to "Touch Trees" was partially to afford this , if you were also quiet enough inside to allow it.
i don't find hypo-critical here; but i have already had to learn to channel that inside, as i relented to doing some things that i recomended against. Though sometimes i walk; sometimes near the end; i'll joke 'yeah i guess i'll let ya remove that branch!!'. But i still maintain a reach towards a higher standard inside, arguemeant ready for the next customer too. It is just all that i can do, like some kind of bidding war, and ya just start extra high
knowing they are pulling ya down to some other place in between.
Allow the suggestions to change you a bit, maybe even more; and not be hyper-criticall, from misplaced energy of confusion, cuz ya hear the truth calling, and are not sure on how to deal with it. You'll lose plenty of battles trying to carry this forward as it is; this thing of people and trees is a marriage thing of compromises.
In that sense the marriage counselor might overpreach to allow greatest potential for correct adjustmeant between the 2 parties. Some things they would have to close their eyes to, some folks, they'd not want anything to do with etc. But the war is not here, it is in changing peoples appreciation and understanding of trees i think.
Let's allow the more progressive talk unfettered; we all ready know the other side of the arguemeant; and it doesn't arm us for battle repeating those words of our own defeats. If we reach not for these things, we will not grow to them.
