LOL It had car tires on it

I felt pretty bad for you.. Having to be towed out like that.I can understand the dually getting stuck. But your little truck should have motored right out.. Dad said you bearly killed the grass where you were stuck. LOL

So...

Has any body come up with a date for this happening? I would like to know what everybody thinks.

Is anyone gonna show up with a couple of them Dolmar wonder saws that we keep hearing about? I would seriously like to run one of those things.

Chuck

I know Ralph has a stock Dolmar 5100S.
I have a Makita/dolmar 6401 with a 7900 topend you could run.

Lets get some dates going here. I'll through up what should work for me.

  1. March 24
  2. April 7
  3. April 14
  4. April 28
So far these 2 work for me.
April 7
April 28

The other two dates are filled for me already, but no biggie on this end.

kind of like when you go on an all night fishin trip with the guys, and you wake
up the next morning, lying in the mud, with your pants tore off, and you
cannot remember anything.

But the main question is, if this happened to you, would you tell anyone?

Hey, some of us are trying to FORGET what he said!!!:biggrinbounce2: We're trying to raise attendance, not kill it.:hmm3grin2orange:

yeah, or at least discourage those whom would find such a situation to their liking!

OK guys, lets hammer out a date! I can be open unless there's a huge storm (talking ice), and if that happens, chances are the guys who would be attending would have the same weather anyway.

Sounds good to me.

Sorry I haven't been able to contribute more to the subject of this thread, but I have been tied up with major work issues since shortly after the Indiana GTG. Things should be getting freed up this week, though, so a Saturday GTG here in Ohio should work out great. If computeruser has been eating his Wheaties, I may let him have another shot at the Craftsman 2.0/14". He might even get to run the PL-5 against Eric's venerable Craftsman 3.7. Of course, if he loses I will have to kill him. :D

Maybe I will have the Super 754 done by that time, too. That would be a hoot. 88cc of smoke and thunder. Bring on them ugly yeller saws.

Just let me know where and when and I will be more than glad to help with anything I can.

If you guys still want to have it here I'm still good. I don't care what weekend, but decide before hand so I can get the stuff setup and cut can come down early and help!

btw, there are motels here close enough, or if you like, we will have this on the backside of my property in a 20 acre field. tents, truckcaps and campers welcome. theres deer in the field and fish in the pond.
oh yeah, campfires welcome, but beer is not for sale here, dry township. so stop on your way in and get what you need, bacause its a 20 minute drive to the closest carryout.

Im pretty much open for the date. Ill just need a week or two notice so the wife can take the day off to keep the yung-uns.

Hey Ultra. Where are you from? You do realize you have some personal responsibility in enabling me in this saw addiction. How many service manuals and IPLs have you sent me now? I do appreciate it. How many saws have I built now and lost money on? I had a good time and learned a lot though.
