Ray, Coke is for cheap whiskey only. When you have good stuff, either 7up or straight up.

Roger that...I enjoy a nice bourbon and seven myself.

Although I pour mine a little differently than most guys.

It's a simple recipe though: Take 2 oz. of bourbon, then pour it into a highball glass while sort of thinking about 7up, then drink.

SAAAAAAlut!

You guys are a bunch of smartasses. Glad to associate with ya!! i think I got my 026 fixed up. I searched on this site and built my own air tester, didnt find any leaks. put it all back together, made about 10 cookies in some ash and mulberry, then checked color again. Looks like carhart tan to me. I just need to get another tach to verify. It is 4-stroking at WOT, so I think Im close. I love the power this little saw has screaming through wood. I think where I messed up last time was by only making 2 cuts. I dont think the saw ever got warmed up to operating temp.

By the way, I love whisky and rum, but they really dont like me. I stick to Budweiser in a bottle. Occaisonal Corona.

I like being the "tough guy"...it was my turn, wasn't it?

Old saw, for the most part you are right on. We just differ in what we call cheap whiskey, I would never put coke in Gentle man Jack, Bookers, Makers Mark or even Black or green label Beam. However I strongly feel it is ok to put coke in regular Beam on Occasion. Not all the time and not at party's but like on Christmas, super bowl and thanksgiving. Now tough guy, Can I post here again?

Good to hear you got it fixed. Did you richen it up or left it where it was? Sorry my smart ass comment almost side tracked your post. But you got some really good advice, I agree the plug is the best way to tell what your engine is doing.

Im not here to bash any Stihl dealer, but I just called a dealer I was getting familiar with buying from. Just started liking dealing with them. :bang: Called this morning to try to get an air leak test done, and order a new tach to finally chase the bugs out of this 026 I been tinkering with. Anyway, they said they are not going to sell Stihl saws or parts anymore because Stihl set up another place in town to sell their product, therefore making 3 Stihl dealers in a small town. So I guess I get to start over building a relationship with a new dealer. Only good part is I may be able to buy a saw here in the next week at dealer cost, which they say isnt much below list price. Can I sell my wife on that one??? :ices_rofl: Anyone know how much the air leak test kit costs?

Where I'm at they keep setting up the Ace hardware stores.

A little humor is the spice of life! I had to richen it up some about a turn and a half as opposed to about 1 turn stock. i still may opt for a biger jet, or a wt-14 carb when finances permit. ( My wife doesnt understand the money Im putting into my addiction ) :biggrinbounce2:

buncha city slickers! its all about the Wild Turkey Bourbon, no ice, and a couple of drops of CocaCola for taste.

:chainsaw:

That's for the good stuff. I'm a bourbon and single malt guy myself, but typically keep a bottle of Jack Daniel's around for mixing...or not mixing. When I have the good stuff, I'm not even thinking of the number 7...unless it's Jack Daniel's, then it's hard not to if you are looking at the bottle.
