You mentioned the " green " industry having to pay this sales ( service ) tax, Totally Stumped said most service work but not all services are charging this sales tax for services rendered.
This hardly seems fair to the ones who have to charge a tax versuses those that don't have to, seems the state of Texas is discriminating against certain sectors of the service industry and looking the other way for the others.
I'm sure I am not seeing the whole big picture on this, as this is the first time I have ever heard of a tax being paid for a service with no retail merchadise involved. Illinois isn't the best state to do business in either, but it seems a whole lot better than this balled up mess with a lot of grey areas
