opcorn: opcorn:
Im pretty sure the person that said it heard it from someone else...Not firsthand knowledge.
Sawtroll have you become a Husky salesman lately. I noticed here today 4 different threads with questions pertaining strickly to Stihl you come back with Husky in your reply, whats up with that ole feller.
However since your my buddy I'll tell why "not" a 372. The man wants a Stihl apparently and a smooth one. The 441 is SMOOTHER than a 372, I've run both, I know, cuts just as good as a 372, and is easier on fuel and has better vib springs, ones that don't snap so easily. Now whats that about a 372,wink!
That may be true, my friend, but the weight difference is still there (not that I really care).
...and it is totally impossible to be smoother than a saw that has no felt vibes at all.......
If the 441 is tooooooo wide.............maybe we all ought to give up on cuttin'!!!:jawdrop:
The man never said one word about weight or Husky, gotcha,LOLOL
BTW the 372 is smooth, very smooth but NOT as smooth as a 441,wink!
Btw, in Germany, allmost everyone seem to agree that the 460 and 7900 both have lots of bad wibes (borderline to illegal for pro use) - how do you feel about that.....
A modded 361 is real fast.............but with a 24" bar you are better off with a 441.
How were the AV mounts on that 460? If it was as beat as you say that may explain for the rough running of the saw.
IMO you answered your own question when you said the 460 was hard on the hands!!!
Get the 441!!!
:rockn: :rockn: Totally impossible, no wibes are no wibes.........
:rockn:

How do I feel? I feel deeply for your needs....
Wimps!!!!
"almost everyone"?
Hey... What is a wibe? :monkey:
This comes from a Man that has ran both too, Not second Hand.(or do I have to buy both to be valid)?
So the 441 is smoother then and cuts just as good as a 372.
Like Sawtroll said no vibes is no vibes.
What Stihl just came out with a saw with no vibes and now. OH it's smoother.
I like the part "cuts just as good as" LOL, what ever
Funny I have never snapped any of my springs but I have seen some broken.
Better vibe springs ? Meaning what they just wear out ? I have some like that on a 361, same spring as the 441.
Some like stream lined saws, Some like fat arse saws. don't be ashamed fat arse saws need love too.
BTW: Leave Sawtroll alone. I'm watching ya.
Recently bought a 441 magnum and it realy runs smooth with lots of power also as of 3-21-07 Stil raised the warrenty on their pro saws to one year.
How much did the spring's cost in the 262 ?? Just asking.....
.
One was broke when I got it, cost $8.00.
How much are new springs for a stihl, I need to replace the worn out ones, the handle seems to bottom out into the casing? Just asking.....
Dont get smart Manual...Im watching you........I was just asking ..I have to order some for a 288..
.
I also had the option of putting the rubber ones in. I could not look up the 288 IPL right now to tell ya. So I don't know if the older 288's had rubber AV system if you don't like the springs.
Is that better ?
