Too late to order?

I'd like 3 of them please. This thread is huge, so I assume we'll get something that says how to pay, ship, etc???

Yup! Once I've ordered them and received, I'll put up a brand new post announcing it, they will then be sold through the trading post to those who have put their names down. I'm going to need lots of envelopes... and I think the woman at the Post Office will probably have a heart attack.:greenchainsaw:

You're selling them too cheap....

33 euros! I'd keep a little stock and run them onto German ebay....!

Do you think I'm not? ;)
All sold here are non profit, and the only people who benefit will be yourselves, and Cancer Research.
Anyone who didn't post before the cut-off date - buy them from Edge & Engine for a reasonable price, or on ebay from me, for 10 times the price. The Ebay sales will still include the charity donation, by the way - but buy from our sponsors first, they keep this place running. Them, and beer.:givebeer:

Spoke to the fella today, and confirmed that the shape is fine, the order number is 400, the colour will be between the NOS "orange" and the early "dark red". Now he's just waiting on the cutting guy to give him HIS price for 400, he'll let me know, and I'll tell him to roll the presses!:)

OK folks, here's a quick way to guesstimate your postage - and the same way I'll be charging it, plus a few pence for an envelope!

Each badge weighs 8g approx.
I'm not organised enough to have scales in my house, and if I do they are probably buried somewhere under a mountain of empty beer bottles and dismembered hookers (that's why I needed a "limbing" saw), so I used the neighbour's scales.
So multiply that up by the number of badges you asked for, add maybe 50c max for an envelope, and that's around the postage I will be needing from you when the badges are ready.
If anyone wants surface mail, then firstly they are insane, as the delivery time is 2-12 WEEKS, not days, WEEKS, and secondly they'll need to tell me - otherwise everything is going out by airmail.

If you are insane and want to wait, the postage list for surface mail is here -

In the mean time, I'm just waiting for the badge man to call and give me a final price before they get into production!

It's not "Charity or not" anymore, it's now just charity really. I could have a run of 25 produced, and sell them easily at silly money. But now 400 are being made, and it relies on you, the people who have posted on this thread and reserved badges, to donate to charity as well as paying for the products. A genuine badge went for 55 Euro (about $75, I think?) a few days ago. I wouldn't buy them at that price.
So why not pay a small price for the badges, and know that you are helping research into fighting cancer along the way?
I'm 32, I smoke 2 or three packs a day - I know I'll get lung cancer if liver failure doesn't get me first, hehe:givebeer:. So I see it as life insurance, as well as helping others.:D
Your dollar, or two dollars, or ten dollars or 100 dollars, could be the cash that solves the mystery that is cancer, or comes up with a better, newer Tamoxifen. Or who knows? Maybe it will do nothing. But one step at a time, research and new treatments do not invent themselves for free. We all die at the end of this book, but why not make it a better read, and a longer book...

What's the conversion now between USA $$ va. pence/pounds, and did you decide on payment methods?

The best payment method for me is Paypal, by far!
At the minute the exchange rate is £1 = $1.45, but that could change if our pathetic pound continues to sink...
