Don't mean to hijack but...gmax, have you ever posted pictures of any of your Oleo-Mac's on here?

The pictures don't really do it justice - particularly the one where it is on the side cover, it looks "gappy". But the two original badges I have are actually just the same - I'd never noticed until I compared them!

Looks great to me too. I'm still in with you. The "gappy" may, in the end, prove helpful because there could be variations in the castings of the various starter cases through the many years.
