You ever think that the policies are starting to change at stihl to keep up with the times. Also the world hates a snitch, unless its to save lives.

i have ordered several genuine stihl parts over the web.. if somebody turned those dealers in i would be rather ticked off, and so would many others i imagine. i would like to keep my overhead low instead of having to drive to my local stihl dealer that has the highest prices of any stihl dealer i have ever been to. they also expect me to wait several weeks for parts. that is just unacceptable to me and my customers.

I any case, there is nothing illegal in selling any Stihl parts or saws mail order or on the Internet UNLESS you are a dealer. The only reason why a dealer can't is that they agreed not to by contract.
