Hey fellas, in need of a husky 570 EPA piston(49mm) with ring and bearing. Got lots to trade plus cash to offer! I cant seem to find one other than at bailey's...dont have that type of cash to spend atm:msp_unsure:

We've got a couple of P41s that have some corrosion damage.....the Farmsaw will make a fine donor of magnesium.

i am in need of a 385/390 crank. doesnt have to be perfect. it just needs to have good lower bearing. the ends can be beat up threads messed up or whatever. i just need to put it in a set of cases i have for mocking up cylinders. im also going to be going thru a bunch of parts and throwing them up here for sale or trade. ive got lots of used plastic for 371,372,385,394,365,066,3120,044,046. ive got several 372,flywheels,clutches,oil pumps,mufflers,etc etc,i have a good used 365 cylinder and piston for the bolt on style open transfer. really i dont know just how much stuff i have but i need to move some of this used stuff to purchase new stuff for my retail bussiness.

Will PM you when I get a minute. Off to work now. I'm in need of most everything. A friend gave me a 288XP project. It's a good set of cases/bottom end, crank/rod/P/C, flywheel, muffler, oil pump, and a few other parts. Has all AV buffers and the front AV spring (but not the AV spring bracket). Has a tank/rear handle (with trigger and throttle linkage), but there's a crack in the tank that'll probably be a leaker. Needs the op-pres lever, carb, intake manifold, top cover, AF assembly, coil, etc etc etc........

There's a small possibility that I have a complete 288XP parts saw coming, but I won't know for sure until tonight or tomorrow....

It's sounds like you have most of it. You don't need the front spring if it has the front buffer (not so lite model). I might have some of the rest.

I just bought one off partstree myself. It is just a flat piece of filter material. You could make one out of a briggs filter easy.

If you are going to use it I dont want to take it. Have you ever straightened one out? I have one but it is bent and I think if I straighten it out it will be brittle.

they are easy to straighten. you just gotta be careful when bending near welds because the welds can break. my 372 had a full wrap when i got it but it got crushed and i didn't want to put a half wrap i had on there so i went ahead and bent a 385 full wrap to fit :msp_biggrin:
