I have a chance to pick up a complete clean looking 041 non AV power head but it only has 90lbs compression.

Should I bother? Anyone interested?

Hey you guys just about filled up my PM box. LOL:hmm3grin2orange:

No more please!!

I'll go ahead and pick it up but I guess its already spoken for.

I hate this but I figure that I can only pass it on in the order of the request for it. Only fair way to me.

Not sure if a 10-10 will work..its a right handed start saw so it is on the clutch side instead of the flywheel side. volks-man - I'll see if my buddy still needs one and get back to you. Thanks for all the info everyone I'm not a mac guru.

I'm still on the hunt for the 261/262 clutch cover.

There are plenty of RH start versions of the -10. McCulloch had several dozen models on that chassis. There are a few guys on here who put a LH and RH starter on the same saw. Kind of a joke, but functional anyway. I think there was even a guy who put LH and RH start on an E-start model.

Those would be known as the 10-10DS & 10-10TS respectively.lol

I would like to see a picture of that.

I just snagged a new, never been gassed or oiled Redmax g3800avs for a really good price. I don't know what I gonna do with it, as I have no real need for it. So I'm either gonna mod the crap out of it and run it or trade/sell it as it currently sits. Anybody interested?

Is this swap meet exclusive to chainsaws? If not I'm looking for an old Honda EX650 or EX1000 suitcase style generator. I don't care if it looks or even runs a little rough as long as the generator puts out what it's supposed to.

If any one has or knows where to find one of these I would appreciate the lead. Thanks all!

020avp parts for 038avs parts

i thought i would give this swap meet thing a try. i have a 020 avp that must have had a hole in the tank corner. somebody tried to jb weld it shut, and jb welded the the rest of the tank while they were at it. everything but the tank and maybe recoil looks in decent shape.
i'm looking for parts to rebuild an 038avs. rear handle, sprocket, clutch, piston, rings, bar nuts, pull cord handle, and other parts to rebuild the internals. this saw was run till compression ran out. thank
