Help , trying to locate a chainbreak assy from a twin cylinder echo 550EVL. The saw runs like a banshee & cuts like butter, but the previous owner ( who is definitely light in the loafers) took the chain break off cause he thought it got in his way. I like this saw but the top handle puts you left hand directly over & 2 1/2 inches above the chain. It is chisel chain at that!
Oh and still looking for that pesky Pioneer 1074 a/f cover!
Thanks
You guys are all the best.

skil 1645, runs well, one of the muffler bolt holes are stripped, needs fuel lines to run perfect. of course, the starter needs to have a good pull on it to crank the engine over (starter cup worn). no bar/chain.

28'' stihl (large mount) bar with 3/8'' stihl chain. got this off of an 064, slight rust on chain but all in good shape. chain will need to be sharpened before use.

poulan 3400 piston, rings, cylinder, good shape.
air filter for above saw, (new) will fit the 3700 as well. i have more parts from this saw.

looking to trade parts or whatever.... whatcha gots??:givebeer:

checked the numbers on the bar: 3003 000 8838
28" 3/8" 1.3mm

the poulan p/c is sold.

still have a new air filter for the poulan 3400-3700.

I don't think your saw is a two cylinder. If it is, I'd like to see some pics of it! Only twins I know of are 600 series, and the re-badged JD ones.

Baileys has something that will work for you. I think they're $37, and you can use it to break the chain on all of your saws.

Oops, my bad I do that every time. Its a 610-EVL twin. I think you thought I meant "chain breaker". I need the "chain brake" assy. This is the final stages of a restoration so I want to use original parts when possible.

I just sent it yesterday. I knew there were some mini's in that lot. Must have hit the spam folder. I need the chainbrake assy off an older mini-mac. Like the one on the top of the pile there, and maybe a few other odds and ends. These saws are actually decent loaners, but I don't like loaning saws without a brake.

I'm not sure exactly the saw you need parts for, but I have a basicly complete Mini Mac 30, its taken apart, it was like that when I got it. All of it is yours for free if you want it. Let me know.

If the MM's are similar to the little SP40 (see Chainsaw Photos thread) I don't understand the gripes???

I rather enjoyed working on that one.

I am looking for .250 /.050 chain if anyone has any extra laying around. I have a lot of McStuff on hand if you need something...

You can access the carb on the SP 40 without removing the whole engine from the case right? You can't on the Mini's.

That saw I just sent you, it has bar and chain. I'm assuming its a .250 chain, that's all I know, I'm guessing its a 12" bar.

I need a 20" 3/8 x .050 bar for a ms460. I would prefer an ES, but am open to others be it new or used. I have a couple of bars to trade, one is a 20" oregon 3/8 x.050 that is like new that fits my poulan 3400 and others. Comes with a good oregon 72LPX. I also have a 20" oregon hardnose in 3/8 x .063 for the small mount stihl. No chain with this one. I will trade both for a good ES bar.

Shipping from Canada is probably more than a running mini is worth. 'preciate the offer though.

Most of the minis I see have no spark. Even if the average homeowner manages to get the engine out of the "shell", they can't figure out how the points work, or why there are wires coming from behind the flywheel. Or they don't have a flywheel puller.

Al Smith said it before: "Mini's either run very well, or not at all." Sorry for bogging everybody down with 2 pages worth of rambling about toy saws. I don't mind working on them. I must be a fool, though, since I like 290's also....

Anybody got a pair of climbing spurs/spikes they want to let go. Short gaffs preferred, but all entertained. Got a buddy looking for a pair. Could also go for a flip line. Yes, he is a hack right now:hmm3grin2orange:, but me and another guy are bringing him along:cheers:.

Also entertaining offers for 041 engine parts like a slug and jug.

I just shipped a saw to Mark Hiemann in Iowa, pretty much same size saw, and it cost $23. Let me know.
