I just picked up a parts 026 that is missing every screw and nut. Stihl will probably want a few $$$ for new ones so I ask here. Also need the handle cover.

Replace the rubber bits and seals and it should be a runner.

Also I am sure I have the wrong Stihl flywheel puller. Will the one for the 056 work on a 026? If not can I trade someone for the correct one. I know long shot :pumpkin2:

thanks Brian

I've got a handle cover for you. I never have enough fasteners so I can't help you there.

A friend of mine has a saw shop that his grandpa started back in the late 60's well he found and bought back the first saw they sold out of the shop a Lombard Lighting 4.2 cu in.

He's looking for a piston and cylinder for it so they can get it back up, they have loads of old parts and $.

I will have to do some research but I just picked up four Lombard AP42's that are also 4.2 cubes, two of which are parts saws. I may be able to help you out if the parts will interchange.

As well as this, looking to trade for other saws or that crummy old paper.

I heard a guy 4 1/2 hours away was gonna come get this saw...............all he needed was your address?

Haha, I got your text the other day Jon, I was on the phone and then forgot about it.

LOL!

I had poor Teddy in a ball on the floor, nothing but tears in his eyes and fear in his heart.

"Hey, I'm Duke Thieroff, aren't you familiar with my internet personality?!?!"

How was your surgery, friend?

Chris

I stand corrected. Never heard of it. I can't afford stihl chain around here.

Funny you say that.....Stihl chain is the cheapest in town here (Only because the Husky dealer is raping everyone for their Oregon chain).

I've got an old stock part roll of Oregon 91V full chisel lo pro.....You don't see it often, that's for sure!

I bought a 92dl loop of 33RSC only because I needed it that day.....$40.:help:

i just know this china crap it not worth the time to make for a saw.

Stihl 020 avp

I need a 1/4" pitch sprocket for the above saw and a av mount for the rear of the top handle. If you have one for sale send me a PM. If you do not have one please send me the part numbers. I do not have an IPL for this model saw. Thanks Tom

Same for here in Western Washington, Stihl cheap!!!! I pay less than anyone even on eBay, thats with all the taxes. $10.00-$20.00 most sizes, RSLFK for $17.00 105 dr, 3 months ago, less for other RM is .16 cents a driver. Next months specials are mostly RM 72dr .050 for $12.50.

Yah 91v is good cuttin stuff but small teeth don't make for many sharpenings, had it on a 136 Husky once, made the saw worth something, great for 8-10" Alder.

028 Super parts

I am looking for a cylinder for an 028 Super, as well as a new or gently used air filter, and an oiler.

I have some Stihl parts to trade, including a near new set of large Stihl spikes with roller catcher, and other stuff.

lombard

Does it have the compreson? release and automatic oiler? His name wouldn't be Mike would it.

You guys south of the border get your chain super cheap compared to us!!!:msp_scared:

For a 3/8 84DL my Stihl dealer is $28 before tax and my crazy Husky dealer is $38 for Oregon!!!

I gather up all the surplus chain from old dealers I can get my hands on.......I've got all kinds of stuff you can't get any more. Even with all that, I still have to go buy from the dealer, because you never have what you need for every saw and bar combination.

I've got a bunch of 76LP which you don't see any more......It's a regular full 3/8 link with a low pro cutter like .325 chain (Sharpens with a 3/16 file)......It all cuts wood and that's the name of the game.:msp_biggrin:
