Have a look along the rail easement from Stratford to Fernbank.;)

I'm in Stratford and the common garden varieties are numerous stringy barks. Red gum is few and far between in the forests, but sh1tloads in the lanes. Cut down 2 dead wattles yesterday out the back...I love to burn that. There is a nice mix though. Thought I came across a Turpentine the other day but I didn't think they grew this far south.
 
This might explain why the chain jumped off the bar twice today....damaged a drive link on the first chain that it wouldn't run smooth in the bar, filing it back now.

Edit...broke one drive link and won't sit properly in the bar about 3 drivelinks either side of it...think the chain may be slightly twisted although I can't see it.

Vince, did you punch the oil screw on the Ozito? Oil flow is a bit on the low side on max for Aussie hardwood. I think it's designed for bamboo.....

Testing is going well. Ripper little saw.

i am using the new stihl bar oil.. the thin runny stuff. and mine pisses out oil. being adjustable i have wound mine back. it lubes more than my 192's.


hey bennn*e have you tried the new stihl fuel? meant to be the ducks guts as its not petroleum based. frigging dear tho. but for the occasional home user it would be perfect.
