wondering why 231 muff keeps coming loose to discover that last bloke musta replaced fixed it by taking a saw body tapper and screwed it in as muff bolt it had right hex head key but was about 10mm too long and wrong thread so recoil required

Anyone had any experience with the modern Keech Timberman kc23 axes?
I've been offered one for $180,it looks like a nice axe head,but the handle seems pretty rough,and lightly made.
I would probably prefer to carry something a bit smaller into the bush, but am i passing up a good deal?

I have no idea if that is a deal or not, all I know is that it's a hell of a lot more axe than I'll ever need.
What are you carrying a competition type axe into the bush for?

Yeah mate I'll bet my left one it will become a Category C. If it had a 4 shot mag or something like that it wouldn't be getting the pressure put on it.

It was always going to have pressure put on it. I think the only way it will get through is by stating that there were already Cat A lever action shotguns on the market. I'm betting if it gets through they'll have to drop the mag capacity.
