my dealer bought a out a dealer that went broke.. and he found this out the back. they say it was a straight fueled beast. i looked at the piston and struggled to see any smugging! only had a tank or two thru it.

No rush...all good things take time....

Don't plan on getting one for a few weeks at least...have to head back to town to start my next build next week....waiting on the building permit and firewood collecting season finished up last month I think...so forest trips our out.
 
ha i look a he rhino box tonite bah your right weak 1.5 mm alloy i may go pelican plastic cargo tubs stronger and by design insulation from heat

I've got 3 of those space cases...made in Bayswater from memory....30% cheaper than what ARB were selling them for at the time 10 years ago...they're double the price now....maybe I should mount one of those, but was worried plastic wasn't up to the task and if I park it in town not sure if it would be secure enough.....dunno.
 
thanks tho dug & had a look myself none fit my needs 2.0mm wall is better i/m off to a aussie disposal shop they have range of boxes may suit

They look better than the Bunnings and Supercheap boxes which are Australian made. These are made in Vietnam. No information supplied on the type of Aluminum used in their construction, eg. marine or architectural grade, TIG or MIG....vented or not....keyed alike locks etc..

This is my ECHO CS320T crankcase and you can see where its broken, pushed in, i havent done any thing yet as im waiting to see what you all say on how to repair it, its in the fuel tank and the handle bolts to that bit
