Off the top of my head sounds about right but I don't run that chain except on my Oz Racing saw and I just use the file it came with..... 3/8th non LP is 13/64....I remember that cause I've stuffed it up before

hows it looking Neil, finding every thing

Yea we are back to full production again, have been for a month now, we retrieved most of my gear, even found a full drum of fuel that washed away, its in a bushy gully 3 hundred yards away from the mill.
I have replaced almost all the starter motors and alternators, the gen-set works except for the electro magnet that shuts off the lister diesel.
It will take me years to get back what I lost money wise but I'm not crying and no one cares anyway.

When I get down and need cheering up I just have a look over on the ''collectors forum '' and see what old bob has bought and modified , the man buys a saw almost every day, must have hundreds by now, bless him.
:hi: bob..........

great to see you,ve got back on top of it all, dont need any more floods, ANYWHERE

i want one of these, recon cut wood for ages

I've used one once and they're great for stump cuts and attacking roots, also great when you have timber full of **** like Matt and Benny do, but I wouldn't use one to cut regular stuff.....they tend to hammer through the wood, are slower and vibrate more than a regular sharp chain. The amount of times I could do with one I just use my not so sharp chain and stuff that completely and resharpen.

Not exactly Mate!
There is at least 5 guys on this thread that know you very well, and would give a Kidney for you.
I remember we all offered some help in 1 way or another, However there's a little stubbornness and an awful lot of pride we'd have to overcome 1st, inside a stocky little red headed fella named Neil.
You give "true Aussie Battler" a decent meaning mate.
You work your butt off at the mill, yet as busy as you are, you're always the 1st to offer help to anyone else in need, 4 whatever reason.
The world needs more Neil's in it!, more than happy to help u out in any way mate........ Just Ask!

It might...but I'm using the thin stihl bar oil......thinking of changing to the valvoline stuff Supercheap have on sale for 16 bucks for 5 litres....under half the price and should do a better job
Got a 60l of nos pennzoil sae50 I started cracking into. Just needs to be a warm day to use it thought :)

can i take a guss

it could be like what i use for rock climbing to clip up to kinda like a dyna bolts but a removable kinda set up

Definitely not! If you screwed that into some timber and attached your climbing rope to it you'd be dead before you'd finish cutting down half a dozen trees., you'd be lucky to get one done.

Thanks Jason and so much appreciated, and I was overwhelmed by the support I received, it would of been easier to receive help from friends but I knew I had to cop what happened and deal with it myself , cannot explain why I just had to.
I am stubborn, I have spent all my adult life till a couple years ago training to be successful in physical sports, learning all the time and still learning.
I watched my dad work hard in his mill, he retired on a war pension and worked the farm till he could no longer and died in his 80's, now I work my own mill not far from his mill, the property is my families now and I'm a happy man.
Oh forgot, I have met some great blokes from this very forum, funny how that happens.
