The 60 ton diesel (its really a 50 ton when you work out the pump pressure and multiply that by the area of the hydraulic ram cylinder) is listed as $1850, it was $1750 a month ago and was called a 50ton unit back then.....im sure you could get it for the old price if you haggle...

Are you telling me it costs about $900 to ship that item to WA?

same as matts but with the revised foot. Mine has a crank handle to flip it between vert and horizontal. The new ones look to have dropped that feature. I have only used mine once vertical. Haven't had anything yet that hasn't been able to split

What brand is that one again Benny? Millers Falls?

Im guessing it splits everything, yes?

Having thoughts of a hydraulic splitter to make some return from firewood and saws

Seen Superaxe splitters by whitland engineering as a Local made product v ebay.
They are coming west for a field day

any body else have one, any make

Have used a superaxe Jimbo, quality gear and the knee control for in/out was quite good, left both hands free to
handle the wood.

Party number says 50Td - your right
$836 to 6107 in their calculator.
I'll see what the SHOW price is on a superaxe
And ask a contact re shipping their dimensions to his transport company

I will try the haggle tactic as well... Group buy multi drop :):)

The whitlands engineered products have a good reputation......

The Chinese products may not share that reputation but theyre about a quarter of the price of the aussie stuff...

There's a lot of hydraulic splitters being sold in mower shops and even seen them in Stihl dealers....branded Oregon or similar and they are claiming they're made in the USA.....they are not.....they are cheap Chinese POS with a price tag double what they should be....

This company sells both petrol and diesel and offers a decent warranty...prices are good and so are the products

www.klika.com.au
When klika was next door they had them all set up so you can run them. No wood but just cycle them. Don't know what their new showroom is like.

Tell them you are interested in retailing their products in WA and you want wholesale prices.....it may prove cheaper if they ship direct to you from China also, worth considering. Screw them on price as best you can....might get em closer to $1500 each, which will pay for another hydraulic pump if you have a failure....

Some time in the short term chances are I'll help with clearing a weedy pine plantation,
Saw in thinking of is a ported 241cm from a guy like Brad.S similar to Matts or a 200t if I can fix them the 14" won't be fully buried in many of the trees I think
