Hi fella's.

Sorry of this has already been posted, but for the Doly/Makita fans, the Aussie 7901 sports much better dogs now (that look suspiciously like my modified ones !)

crikeys, you will be in strife for stabbing trees with those dogs,,,, or your leg.... bleed bleed it will.
Hello Rick, good to see you in print, I hope that Landy is still running ok for ya.

You won't beat a 241 for that work, unless you can use a heavy brushcutter, or you have a lot of 20"+ stuff to do.
I've been gunna get one for the next big job like that for a while now, and keep buying other stuff instead and being skint when I need to pull the pin.

Ive got my ms660, or the 116i for anything that gets bigger
I know the feeling, @210cm a lot of my basketball stuff comes from the states and trying to time with the 30% off can be tricky

Cheers Neil.

The Landy is running fine, just don't ask how much I've spent on it in the last seven months......[emoji33]

Anyone know if Tsumura bars are available in there Light range for .063 3/8 Stihl mount.

Their standard bars are fantastic value and top quality.
Not here no. I asked the rep for the distributor here in OZ if he could ask the question if they could get a few larger sizes of them. Ha being said that they have only had bars longer then 25" for no more then a year. Previous to that only mainly 20 & 24/5 in mid Stihl and large husq mounts

wtf i just tried booking jetstar & just cuz my card expires next month it so says no go wont accept...

but heres a trick i just learnt,,,choose to pay by direct debit via online bank and save $17 card fee plus you get to hold booking for 48 hours until your payment received and if you don't pay its no biggy so if u see cheap fare grab it then figure out the other stuff

could be good for some one who can not bore with a saw

I've seen a home made version of this used to make the post and rail fence around the old Suggan Buggan School (VIC).
They allow very accurate placement of the cutter bar and that makes parrallel cuts etc, very neat compared to boring freehand.

I didn't know they were commercially made so thanks for posting 2Snut.

The price of this ebay one, if it's solid and doesn't malfunction after 5 minutes use, is quite cheap IMO.

Yo chippy, before answering this I must advise that my redgum firewood heap is thickly mined on all sides and the Chihuahua is attack trained !

Then their is the real danger- the missus ..... :crazy2: :chainsaw: :surprised3:

We are well west of Briag. lol

20150818_142527.jpg 20150818_141951.jpg 20150818_141931.jpg As can be seen, not only do I have infra red cameras but I also stack in such a manner that unless you remove the timber in the correct manner they will fall on you and crush the life out of you in an instant.

Talking firewood, when you sell it by the cubic meter, I always tightly stack it and ask $125/cu mtr...

Some blokes round my way just throw it in the trailer and sell it by the loose mtr for $85/cu mtr...

I reckon I'm losing business to these guys....

When it's stacked loose it bulks up 50%-70% depending on log size of course.
