"Early reports indicate the earthquake caused massive devastation and destruction in the Warragul/Moe area valued at $30"
I heard it was so bad in Moe that some guy fell off his sister.
A major earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit in the early
hours of this eve, with the epicentre in Moe. Victims were
seen wandering around aimlessly muttering, "####in ell" and "Whadda
####". The earthquake decimated the area causing approximately $30
worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementos from the
Commodore Appreciation Society and the Moe Progress Hall were
damaged beyond repair.
Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed.
Many locals were woken well before their welfare cheques arrived.
Moe Radio reported that hundreds of residents were confused and
bewildered, still trying to come to terms with the fact that something
interesting had happened in the area.
One resident - Tracy Sharon Smith, a 15-year-old mother of 5 said "It
was such a shock, my little Chardonnay-Mercedes came running into my
bedroom crying. My youngest two, Tyler-Morgan and Megan-Storm slept
through it all. I was still shaking when I was watching Jerry Springer
after the quake had hit". Apparently though, looting, muggings and car crime
carried on as normal.
The Red Cross has so far managed to ship 4,000 crates of Vegemite to
the area to help the stricken locals. Rescue workers are still
searching through the rubble and have found large quantities of
personal belongings, which include benefit books, flannelet shirts,
jewellery from Priceline and bone china from Safeway
Sorry about your loss, gmax.
Now come on, don't make fun of it..I can see at least one casualty
Yeah who flogged the other shoe
Hey, I live in Western Sydney. We have plenty of replacement bogans if we lose any down there. At least all the 4wd's making their way around Toorak will have the occasional road crack to cross. Better lock in the hubs and get them in low range
Is a Sydney 'Westie' compatible with a Melbourne 'Bogan' though ?
I don't know if a Westie would cope with VB instead of New and the AFL instead of the NRL ?
The brawls could be interesting though.
Oh oh, I just realised I'm wearing a flannie shirt today too :msp_ohmy:
Whew, at least I don't live in or near Sydney
