Fairly substantial chainsaw for cutting up some firewood lol.

I think Mr Phillip Waters will be taking out a restraining order soon, some bloke is following him taking pictures of everything he does. Soon i'm expecting to see a photo of him taking a crap on a toliet shaped just like a Stihl powerhead. :hmm3grin2orange: I wouldnt hide in the trees with your camera, trees are not safe around him.

The simple answer here is this,,,
Yes i know who bought it and what his intensions are.
The man who bought it may not want his new hotsaw disscussed or the pics copied and passed around different forums without concent or permission to do so.
Until such times, its just another brilliant looking hotsaw.

One thing i can tell you is 99 % of aussie competitors do not want or need their saws or saw modifications disscussed on open forums.

(when i post race pic's, race vids or do a little competitor profile, i get permission from the owner or competitor first.)

Something different men,,, had another police inspection yesturday. Second time in 6 months regarding safe storage of firearms, new policeman in district and he rang lunchtime and asked to inspect on his way home. I asked why as its been done and he said there is no record of the inspection so he was doing it regardless. I agreed to this as i have no issue and better to get it done, so he came out a couple hours later on the agreed time.
This time he asked questions regarding why and how often they are used, and he seemed to be just enquireing in general, i opened the safe and he pulled them out 1 at a time and inspected them resiteing the serial number and checking with his paperwork.
Once done checking those he asked the top door be opened so he could look at the ammo, he checked each box against his paperwork and they all matched.
He was ok but was looking for signs of other unregistered guns, i'm guessing.
I offered him a coffee while he completed the paperwork which he agreed, then i noticed his voice changed and was more open to talk about local matters in our district.

Maybe the local boys have been told to step up and make sure everything is as per the law.

at least you had it all up to the paper work neil, and everythings fine
found out yesterday that my mate had his place broken into and they stole all his riffles and amo
he thinks it was young teens but the used a battery grinder to get into the safe, thing is the smallest is a 30/30 lever action, what the hell are kids going to do with these guns, it makes you worry
regards peter

Nothing top secret here as far as i am concerned, in fact it has nothing to do with me at all.
I'm just giveing the new owner his privacy regarding his purchace. (after all, what the fu#k has it got to do with anyone else.)
No one else in our ring gives a #### either and that thread has been dead for some time now.
Regarding dennis posting pics of it, well he was the builder and just maybe disscussed this before he posted its progress.

edit,,, it could be 200cc for all i care, it can only run in 1 event so good luck to him.
Also he can drive a hotsaw, no safety issues there......

now get the hint uncle robert and have a nice windy arfternoon and maybe polish ying and yang...

I thought it was only out here to do some demo runs to show us colonial fellas how a real saw goes ha ha ha as Cahooooon puts it na it would be interesting to see how far behind the 8 ball us fellas are it would be nice to see it git its butt kicked and sent home with its bar between its legs.

But i suppose only those in the know will ever know when it might be dragged out and run and where.

McBob.

the references to Neal and Bob maybe.
Time to have a Singha.

Ok, was wondering that myself when i looked dismorning.

I certainly never took any offence to last nights comments, just aussie dribble, all good with me.

I don't have any trouble in beleiveing that saw will win every run it goes in, provideing the cuts are within the lines and done correctly, i have no dought about that at all.
I also want to see it run and i have taken steps to get it involved, but its the owners decission when and where it will run and of coarse against who.

Now why do i need to ask ??, you can do that yourself.
And yes both those men are way higher up the tree than me. I just hold the ladder for the rest.
Besides my saws are not up to those guys.
