I liken the 090's to a T Model Ford.
Nostalgic, sort of cool to look at, a piece of history, but fuc*ed if I want to run one over a modern saw for more than 5 minutes

Any of you guys learn to play the chainsaw in school? I had to learn the recorder, this looks much more style. A good laugh none the less

Well I'll be F##cked. If it wasn't for his long hairy head poking out from under the skirt of the teacher, I'd say he was a legend. Fancy being able to get that little saw hitting the right notes. Bloody fantastic, I love it.

she's a very tidy unit Neil, I picked her up today ....its basically like New, its only been run a few times. absolutely zero damage, just a little paint missing. and Runs like a top, awesome sounding the 090

yes mate, she's gonna be a runner along side the 3120, she'll take the hot summer days with stride .... Ill just have to clean her and keep her fine arse toned

Nice one WM on the 090AV. Hope you have some fun with the big old girl. A number of 090's have surfaced lately on the auction sites - glad you were able to pick this one up. It was only up the hill from me in the 'Gong.

Well Gentlemen, I will be making the long trek to the land of Oz again in a couple of weeks. Fly in to Sydney on 27 Nov, then Bathhurst & Young in NSW before heading over to Kyabram & Melbourne for the weekend. Mon-Tues in VIC then down to Tasmania for a couple of days returning to Melbourne by Friday, 7 December so I can head home again.

I may have some spare time in the Melbourne area on 1-2 December, any suggestions?

Anyone need any small items I can bring along?
