Some saws are just born to be slugs, perhaps the chineese copy 070 is one.
At least that one of gmax's goes, we have not seen evidance of other ones going at all.

edit,,, just a thought, what carby does that 070 copy run gmax.

Neil, A no name copy of a Tilly HL , the fuel pump diaphragm was stretched beyond recognition I swapped it for a genuine Tilly one.

Well close but no cigar you should have bought a chinese 070 instead at least that would have been sensible ................

sensible for what, mr Bob.

ozflea may the chains on ya Huskies all fall off

hmmmm,,, mine do just that at times, its a husky thing due to impressive HP or is it BS.

Merry christmas to all viewers and members here,,,

On another note I bought 3 older saws the other day off a guy for $150. He'd bought them not running from the Stihl Shop at Naracoorte.
Anyway one was a little Sachs Dolmar 115i, one was an 026 with a scored piston (beaten up but still serviceable), and a little McCulloch that is basically exactly the same as the little Sachs Dolmar, albeit in yellow and according to gmax a few cc smaller.
Just fitted a new 44mm piston and rings to the little 026 last night and she fired up first pop this morning :D The other saws have good compression and spark so finger's crossed. Wayne (gmax) is going to grab the little McCulloch. It will probably run better than the real thing seeing it's made by Dolmar ;)

Thanks Matt, my little yellow Dolmar is missing the choke lever, I'll be up your way in January.
How did you go with the 115i ? they are good 50cc firewood saws, the 115i is the same cc as the yellow Dolmar (111) but the 115i
is higher revving (different cylinder) they also had a sturdier chain brake.

Merry Christmas guys

I haven't even fuelled up the little Dolmar(s) so yet to try them out. I did steal an anti-vibe mount from the little McCulloch though for the 115i. Sorry about that :)

Here they be...

Well you started it. You told me it would be broken before I'd even noticed it. You also said the chain brake would be broken and you were right there too. Me thinks you know a bit about these little saws :)
