yeah they couldn't give me any details if they could or not, it was a woman at the desk. lol They do have 36" Rollomatic ES bars for $165,
Thats a good price, $180 here for a 32" ES and over $600 for a roll of chain man he's dream'n
yeah they couldn't give me any details if they could or not, it was a woman at the desk. lol They do have 36" Rollomatic ES bars for $165, I know there is 41" ES bar, but not shore if we can get them in OZ anymore, tho i have seen them around as well as 60" stihl bars (replaceable sprocket nose)
PM Bennn*e on here. He'll be able to tell you what's available from Stihl.
Also the longer (over 42") Stihl bars I've seen in Australia were always rebadged GB's.
I've still got bars in my shed from that deal. I helped him sort them out after we picked them up from the freight depot. There was some bloody good bars in that lot but also a sh*tload of odd sizes, guages, fitments etc and most of the DL counts were incorrect. He was offloading them for some crazy prices. It made the arse of his ute sit down a bit too. There was 1750 bars all up. That was nearly 4 years ago now and there was also a swag of extra long bars but mostly the older discontinued roller nosed ones. I still have two 60" ones for the 3120 with one on the mill.
Peter from Coona Sawchain does some great deals on GB too.
snapped a pic of the husky for you guys,i just gotta pick it up after crissy
yeah but then ive seen a few GB's that where debadged stihls. lol well i guess that's a win win really
Yeah, that was the deal Laurie was telling me about.
So you were also in on it too. Hhmm, the plot thickens.
Well off to bed for me, gotta get my beauty sleep as have to go to work at 6 in the morning.
Rostered on for for the christams and new year period.
Oh well, no hangover for me.
Cheers Wayne
it was a few years ago on a woodwork forum, all the stihl bars ive owned where all german steel, stihl stamped! luckilyWhere? Never seen those before - I want piccys The old Australian delivered Stihl Rollomatics were simply GB Pro Tops with Stihl painted on them direct from GB. There were also Husqvarna bars which were just rebadged GB Pro Tops as well.

just as much truth in what gets said on ASMust have been true then

damn! Ill stick with the ES. was $460 for a 60" GB replaceable sprocket, 300 for 60" fixed roller/sprocket old stockI paid $180.00 for a 36 inch GB Titanium from Laurie.
The Steal dealer wanted $190.00 , cannot remember if that was with or without gst for a light bar.
I know one is heavier than the other but will last 3 times longer as well.
300 for 60" fixed roller/sprocket old stock
yeah there very narrow bodied the extra long ti GB's, i like something with more depth curved belly when getting over 42", Cannon bar i think if i'm going 60"Stay away from these. They're the ones I own. Non replaceable roller and very prone to bending just behind the roller. Also very flimsy and flexible.
