no way Bob ,we need more of them, people in the community seem to have gotten soft or something theses daysthey need to be educated not made to fear theses things,
ya can't have this or that anymore,ya get caught with pool chemicals and urea in the back of the ute you're screwed, can't go down to the local hardware and buy a box of gelly for stumps anymore,WTF.........................

Not quite that bad over here yet, but if you're buying a large box of ammo for a weekend of shooting (UMC 250 rounds, 9mm) they have you sign something that probably goes right to the DHS and all them money wasting "freedom saving" agencies for record keeping. Every time I go out back and let a few rounds go into the paper target, the DHS is flying a damn Cessna type plane nearby.

Everyone that is a true patriot and loves the USA, and not the pricks that are running the country into the ground, is on some kind of list for being a possible domestic terrorist. Yeah, they got me on that list too. Many others, including the non violent TEA party (Taxed Enough Already) members are on it, NRA members, pretty much the rest of the more conservative or right leaning groups are on the list. The gov. big hats are profiling more normal US citizens than anyone else. They don't bother to investigate the actual problem of people snapping, which is the gov. ####ing around and wasting money, and the lack of jobs for returning war vets, weak economy, etc. There are so many things they could correct and actually solve the problems, but they refuse to do it.

They don't think lowering taxes helps create jobs. They don't think that educating the public properly is important. They don't think parents need to be competent, and not just having kids for tax breaks and gov. benefit programs. Yes, we are talking about liberals in a general view... there are some old school liberals that actually are considered conservative by today's naming... those folks are the good liberals. There was a shift sometime in the past regarding conservative parties and liberal parties.

It's irritating and simply offensive that some think guns are evil and all that bullcrap. It's to keep power hungry gun grabbing money wasting rich pricks like them at bay in regards to our freedoms. I know one thing about us Americans in general... that is the many gun owners would fight tooth and nail, to the death for their freedom, their right to own firearms, their right to live, their right to prosperity and happiness. I am one of them. Don't tread on me.

We are giving a very fair warning and fighting the stupidity in non violent means whenever possible, but we will resort to violence if that is only way to teach a lesson. Yeah, arm the DOE, IRS, and all them. Try to scare us all you want. We will win.

Cars kill more people in this country than anything else FFS............

Productive little nite. Worked over the little red saw. Ground slots into the adjusting screws,(who was the bright spark who thought we won't use slotted adjusting screws) advanced the timing, gutted the muffler and ditched the mesh and popped a nice big hole in it so it can fart better.

And I think it's running a bit lean.

When my safe got checked some time back, the local copper rang and asked for a look see on his way past heading home.
No problems, I could of said no and arrange another day, but I said ok and then forgot about it, that evening he turned up.
He stayed with me as we walked into the shed after I got the keys, and he produced a list of what should be in there. Usually they just have a look and if the count is right that's it, they are happy. Not this time he asked me to hand him each one so he could check the serial numbers / calabour against his list.
After that complete, he asked for the top to be opened, then checked each box looking for bullets for a different gun.
He was on the ball but was not smart about it, he just got serious until the contents checked out, then he changed completely and was ok. He spent maybe 1/2 hour chatting about different things, before saying he had a couple more neibours to check and best be off.

My guess is if I had bullets for something else, he would of gone looking or at least say please explain.

Gun ownership is getting harder, so its more than ever important to do everything right.

There's something called caching. Undoubtedly, many never turned in their semi autos and what not down under when the stupidity of the gun bans got through... they cached them somewhere in the vast outback.

If you do it, do a very good job. Don't let anyone see you do it either. Location should be recorded on a simple map and placed in a secure location.

Don't forget some people have metal detectors... try to keep the cache from being detected by burying it somewhere that has lots of scrap metal, or in heavy laden iron soil. Or better yet, use as little metal as possible for storage containers.

Yeah, I'm risking my neck telling you this. They might com bashing down my door anytime just because I said something they don't like. It's happened before.

Bob, as for school shootings, they are not as common as you think. They do happen, but not everyday, and God forbid they do start happening on a daily basis. We're having more problems with unruly law enforcement.

Recently, they killed a WWII veteran, simply because he refused to leave his apartment in a veteran home. Yeah, they only shot him with a bean bag round out of a 12 gauge. Guess what, it killed him. Just leave the guy alone and find something more constructive to do, like finding drunk drivers, hit and run suspects, stolen cars, catching excessive speeders, and the like.

People are snapping because the gov. is making the future look bleak by increasing unemployment, handing out benefits to those that can't work for themselves, increasing taxes to an oppressive rate that makes it harder and harder to make a living as well as have fun. I've almost killed myself a few times, I have a hard time seeing a good future without freedom. I want my kids to have the fun of shooting guns, I want my kids to grow up in a world where we don't have to worry about the gov. listening in on everything we do and say. I want my kids to see something worth staying around for. For me, a job and money and a girlfriend won't even cut it. I want my freedom, my money that I worked for, and my country in the original way it was meant to be too. You big hat gov. pricks can keep the bad change you keep trying to force into law.

Oh, and don't forget someone committed treason by blabbing about the guys that killed Osama Bin Laden. He said it was Seal Team 6, and guess what, what he said later killed 22 of the members of the team. Granted, they may or may not have been the particular members that kicked Osama's ass, but that doesn't mean it's okay to go blabbing with details of who did it. Look it up, and learn where he is in the gov. Treason is something that is a punishable crime against the country, and the punishment is death. That bastard should pay for what he did. Unfortunately, no one has the capabilities to make these people pay for their misdeeds. Instead, we are forced to wait, wait, and wait. God help us all.

I hope the gun rules in the states get really a lot tougher their bopping Aussie out for a walk or are we just fair game

Well the dxxxheads aint after glory and if they follow the American way of things god help us.

all that it has done is drive gun prices up and gunshops to close and not soon enough

Hey I agree mate. Many guys think that we need to know absolutely everything that goes on. The fact of the matter is that 90% of the population cannot process the sort of information they are presented with because they do not have the mental capacity to put it into context and assess the bigger picture.
Then you get the other nutjobs who believed that Osama Bin Laden was a nice bloke who was made into a scapegoat. These are the ones who think that Osama worked in children's hospitals and knitted rugs for the sick and elderly while picking flowers for underprivelaged women.
In reality he was scumbag who deserved far more than a bullet in the head.

Na just another wonderful product of America past his use by date

Bob, you may be out of the loop on the gun control issue, but it sounds like you are up to speed on 'Tim'.

Guess which president gave Bin Laden guns and ammo and other weapons? He was a president in the early 1990's, and he was liberal. He technically committed treason too, since his actions later got a bunch of people killed in New York on 9/11. He had a chance to have Bin Laden killed back then. Nope, instead he makes a deal with the guy and lets him go home with a bunch of weapons.
