You can have that auto loader,,,,,, but that no 1,,,, hmmmmmmmmmm I will take that one any time.

The RAAF Airfield Defence Guards have their own sniper teams now or have had them for quite a few years handy to keep the enemy a little further from their bases plus their also part of the JTAC teams working with the SAS patrols marking targets for lazer guided missles and bombs

In Afghanistan the FAC (Forward Air Controllers) were all American and attached to the Australian SAS patrols. Reason being was that guiding in air strikes was their specialty, they knew how to communicate properly with the US Air Force, and the chance of dropping a bomb on friendlies was greatly reduced.

Just a bit more information but people often assume that military snipers must be better shots than anybody else. I can assure you that is not necessarily the case. They do however excel in ranging, camouflage, fitness, discipline etc.
For example I am a better shot in the field than my mate who was a sniper in general infantry and then a counter terrorism sniper with the SAS. However he can pull the same groups whether he is standing on his head, right or left handed, hanging one handed out of a tree, having just sprinted 300m, etc etc. One thing he can't do is hit a moving target and he is absolutely useless with a shotgun :) He can however stalk animals like a bloody ninja and I must admit that it is quite unsettling watching him move through the scrub - I've seen him sneak up on roos in broad daylight where he could have clubbed them with a cricket bat. Despite me being a better shot I know who'd come off second best in a shoot out, unless I kept moving :D
