Well Matt looks as if you guy has missed the boat an ADG was 3 injured in a minor tiff they had only in last last month or so whilst embedded in a SAS patrol and again I'm correct the RAAF now trains it members for JTAC

good after noon, good viewers,,,, in cause its raining again,,,, oh and storming too.
some more trivia,,,,,

Yesterday arvo I went to pick up my boy from fishing near home. Nearly dark when I got there and parked close by was a bloody green old Toyota troopy,'' MILO'' and Roofy, I am sure all you 4x4 specialists know him from the many dvds on sale. Bugger me, so I stopped and talked to him for a bit, a little different in real life, but entertaining just the same, he was on his way home. She is a pretty rough old girl when up close. I almost forgot about the boys until they saw me and walked up.

Matt, I would not bother with anything Bob says, ( I cant see it due to the magic ignor button) we have learnt that at least 85% of stuff he types is just BS and attention seaking.

So has this happened in the last few years Bob? I appreciate the info but the print is a bit small to read on your embedded images above. So the RAAF now trains SAS guys for air strikes or trains it's own members?
Also is your information coming from magazines and media releases or from guys directly associated with these operations? It does make a big difference.

Neil, I don't know what's causing your doubles, but I deleted that one for you.

460, what's that Browning OU in the pic? Love my XT, but when I go to the woods it's the old beater 870 that comes with. Just couldn't bear to scratch the pretty wood on the Browning. I guess you could call it a "gun club baby".

So I had the gudgeon pin circlip give out on my husky 562 today. So apart from swearing vigorously I need to get it sorted. Probably 30 - 40 tanks through it so the rest should be in good shape still. I'm putting the failure down to bad luck as I can't see that excessive revs are an issue with such a brainy saw....

As an eBay purchase I have no warranty, and as it's direct from the states I'd fork out shipping both ways even if there is.

Piston, cylinder, rings all shagged, I assume metal in the bottom end.
I don't have the tools, desire to split the cases and clean out the bottom end. I do kinda like the idea of getting a new cylinder ported. I'm thinking I might box it up and send it to terry landrum as my 385 I bought from him is a groovy thing.
Anyone got any advice on shipping to the states? Are there any local alternatives? Should I stop being a girl and just get the bottom end sorted myself and order whatever new bits I need?

I wouldn't split the case, remove the P/C and rinse the bottom end out with some old fuel, I've cleaned plenty that way without issues.
