That's great news that its coming out for winter, I have heard the M-Tronic saws are very good. I will certainly be buying 1 and getting it ported, will be running a 30'' bar and skip chain fulltime

NZ gun shop Ruger SR 5.56 nice but told they NZ masters changed ownership rules last Dec 2013 now milspec auto load needs a Cat E ticket thats about as hard as our C- D permit still Ruger 10-22 $495 out the door on standard and they can come with suppressors

You want to hope and pray his name is not Mohomard Ali ............................................. otherwise he will sting you like a little bee.

Mohammed Ali wouldn't know what his hands are for any more. Too many hits to the head.

Give the 550 a chance to run in a bit mate. My 550 would positively thump the 261 I owned and also the 261C I've run. Only downside to the little Husky is that it's spike is crap with no option for a larger spike or dual spikes and it's filter is also garbage compared to the 261.
Is that Solo of yours 56cc?
HD2 air filter...

Hi guys had to go to my stihl dealer today to get some more 2stoke oil was looking at the saws and I noticed that all of the saws had gone up $100 each what's the story the 660 now is $2099 comes with a stihl esky though big deal my dealer reckons the 661 when arrives could be about $2300 rrp oouch
MS 661 is listed to be the same price in my book....

Mmm i bet it wont come with the ES Light bar but.
ES light bars will be available in the next couple months. The bloody normal es bars have gone to a 11 tooth nose instead of the
Old big 13 tooth one, I asked the question about why that have changed today because I had some on back order but no eta and was finding out what the hold up was. Saw seasons kicked off over here a couple 660's already, I love firing up new ones with that clutch whistle they make!

I like the Combi can they have in the photos in the Stihl catalogue, but couldn't find a listing for it, it has places to put files and spanner on it. Another bit that is annoying is the felling wedges, they have the best one they ever made in all the pics of saws being used, but it has been discontinued  the new ones are crap in hardwood up our way, they won't drive in and hang up on those ridges they put on them

Boys l want some opinions or thoughts....There is a masterminded 461 2012 for a grand in shiny condition and a 2012 390xp masterminded for a grand also a plumb. What is going to be most 'fun' to run? l don't NEED either but l want a ported saw with a big wow factor & have not bought a new toy for a while....Help me make up my mind! Vincegu05 how good is your MM461?

Holden or Ford

Im very happy with my ported 461 and is the saw i go to for the hard jobs.
Andrew l l know you have run stock/ported 461's....Here's the deal, l can prolly get a brand spanka for about a grand. Would you rather a two year old saw that has been ported by Randy (but only has had about 10 tanks through it) or a new 461 in the box unmolested for the same price. Help its a 'R' model to!
