Ok, all three available sets are spoken for...Sorry to all of those that i wasnt able to help.
Any body know a good place to get tygon (spelling) fuel line? i need 1/4 and 1/8 maybe a foot or two of both, ya know, just in case.
What type of material do you use?
any body know why i wouldnt be getting spark on a Homie EZ auto? its not the plug, or wire, thinking it must be the coil. anybody got one they can let go of?

Both points and condensers are cheaper than coils.......................so I'd try them first. Are your laminates clean and rust-free?

Well good news and bad news from the shop today.
Good news first, as its directly related to the bad/painful news: I got the C7 running on the third pull and with a few twists on the needles she runs like a top!
NOW, when i went to shut 'er down...I fliped the little toggle switch which grounds out the spark and kills the motor....well little did i know it was going to ground through me, i was holding on the the wrap and rear handle, and got shocked in both hands, almost dropped the saw! but the saw kept running, and not untill it touched the ground did it cut off....What did i do wrong? something isnt right, or im an idiot...
Even with the nice little wake up call, im still pumped to hear that big ol' girl run.
I bought nice looking EZ auto off ebay few years back. When I got it here no spark.
It had the blue coil electronic ignition. Before I started looking for a new one.
I pulled the plug wire out of the coil and twisted it back in and then I had spark.:msp_biggrin:
It don't always work out that way but its worth a try.
ok, well its blue, ive had it off, cleaned all the dirt and oil off of it, and yes the laminations are still nice and shiny, no rust. the plug wire, and unit itself seem newer than the rest of the saw. so Cliff i might try what you mentioned. maybe the plug wire just wasnt seated properly. Id like to get it running as i dont have a smaller saw thats operational.
And yes. this C7 is throwing me for a loop. the switch is is fine, and im pretty sure the coil is set up correctly. some how the high voltage side is getting grounded to the saw and straight into my HANDS!!!! Granted the saw needs a new plug wire, but i cant see that being a problem......why would it just do it when i flip the switch?
opcorn: weird, better get used to shutting it off with the clutch until you get it figured out. please post the solution when you discover it. i've been racking my brain trying to figure out how that could happen. so far, nothing.

Im looking for a Homie EZ ign. coil either an electronic (blue) or a crank and points style coil to convert.
Oh, and solved the C7 problem, no more grounding through me! ordered a chain from baileys will have it in some wood next weekend.
Best way to convert that blue coil S E-Z to points is to get a parts saw (sound familiar?). In addition to the coil and the points-saw crankshaft, you'll need the flywheel, and the points box. You can get by without a crank changover if you just swap the flywheel and coil, and install a Nova module. I may end up doing that soon with one of my saws.
Parts saw!? where?! im always open to a parts saw!!!
