Bplust is a great guy, been dealing with him already. might just continue to do so. Just dont want to spend a whole lot of dough on this saw...

and the solution was???????

The switch was loose....

You'll enjoy it when it's running though. Super E-Z's are little hotrods. They're 41cc saws that think they're 51cc.:D

Thats what ive heard, its not a Super but the EZ autos are still like 37cc's i think. Still a good little saw, if i can just get a dang spark.

Im looking for a Homie EZ ign. coil either an electronic (blue) or a crank and points style coil to convert.

Oh, and solved the C7 problem, no more grounding through me! ordered a chain from baileys will have it in some wood next weekend.

I checked my parts saw EZ today. It's got the blue coil and no spark. :msp_mad: Sorry.

My C7 carb box is filling up with gas after i shut off. Im assuming its because my gas cap isnt vented, and its just pushing gas through the carb, and since the front of the carb is tilted towards the back, it just drips out into the box...is there an easy solution to the problem or is it a different problem and im off in my diagnosis?

Sorry about hijacking the thread for the past week....maybe i should start a C7 thread. Im just afraid i would gain the same captive audience that i have here.

You have a carb needle/seat issue Mark. Could also be a leaking carb filter cover gasket. Bottom of carb.

Ive got a vented cap that came with the second parts saw, so ill put it on and see if it solves the problem. then ill pull the carb and check all the gaskets and surfaces.

Also, Bplust, ya know how we were having a little difficulty over the homelite EZ....turns out it is a SUPER, lol. I wiped the clutch and stater covers clean, and there it was....I hate feeling stupid.

I sure do need a piston & cylinder for my 335. About all I've got to trade is $$$ but I'd swap some for a usable setup.
