Nice Nate!
Picked this one up a couple weeks ago. Cleaned it up real good, had to jb weld the tank window back in, cleaned the oil pump and put on a new set of dogs.
Still would like to find a stock air filter set up and a chain break, but it runs really good as is.

Sweeeet! I have always liked the way this family of big saws cut.
Nice saw Nate.
Those Pioneer gas caps have a habit of swelling and getting stuck. They are getting hard to find. Don't leave them screwed down when you have it in storage or leave it with gas in for too long. Something in the gas makes them swell. Maybe the ethanol.
Throw them in the freezer for a week. Some guys have good luck shrinking them that way.
Nice trick. I'll have to keep that one in mind.I recently had a Pioneer Farmsaw with a very hard to tighten/loosen gas cap myself.
I used the trick of submerging it in non-ethanol straight gas for a week.
I barely touched up one thread on the cap that was too tight with a triangular file, now it screws on and off smooth as new.
