Hi There, I cant believe how Crazy the American People really are.
A friend of mine from P.A. came to visit for a couple of days which is just fine by me, however when I was shuting down the Fort for the night and was getting wood to stoke the fire, I noticed I was short a few saws. So I looked around where they might be. No they werent in his car, the crazy weirdo was sleeping with them! And all this time I thought the strange ones were West of the Rockies.
Go Figure!

Well John, this guy gives a whole new meaning to "sawing logs!". Looks like he is ready to tackle anything. Hope he didn't roll over on them.......it would be kind of painful!
Tony

Hi John - at least hes got his clothes on eh!! Did that 038 come in that box on the headboard?? :D

What the hell is going on here John?
A person can't take a snooze without someone putting my personal life all over the internet.
You will be hearing from my lawyer you creep!   Rick

Listen up, you sawed off woodtick! You sawed on the wrong log!
That Red Oak you sliced and diced for fuelwood when I was making a beer run, was destined for Tiawan, and with a 4' tip and 10' length, it scaled out at 1210 board feet and at 3$/ft. U.S., you did me out of 5000$ Canadian, just about enough to buy a Hotsaw from Ed Heard and a Carlton racing chain from Gaston Dupriere.
Geez it's hard to get good help over the internet!

G'day John,

Is that your 038 in the pic? How does it get up (or down) and boogie being Walkerised?? And out of interest, how long is the bar on it??....
Heres mine before I christened it, w/a 20" on it.
Cheers
Charlie

Sure, It one thing to ruin my Red Oak veneer log, but did you have to rock the 088 Magnum out on the choker cable?
Im sure glad I hid the 357 Magnum with Art's chain or you would have peeled back the cutters on that one as well!
Stihl Killer

Hi Charlie, the 038W is a nice saw, but new and made only a few cuts, so its had to tell till you get a real feel for the saw and everything is broken in nicely. However, there is no doubt it will be a good one. The 038 pictured has a 20" bar. Nice picture of your 038 there Charlie. If you just do muffler work you should realize at least 1/2 hp gain.

Hi Jonathan, the EZ performed like a Champ and never slowed down in the cut, even when it was completely in the wood. I was overjoyed to see the new 50 thou. bar which I put on the 357 to accept Art Martins racing chain.
Anyway, I like that little EZ that I outfitted with a 73CL and modified it back to round. The pic shows the chain a bit slack, but was due for a retension after a big cut with a new chain.
If anyone is looking for a good woodsrun saw than please talk to the Homelite Head Honcho, Jonathan Hobbs and tell him I sent you and he wont hold it against you. And if you ask him nicely, he just may inscribe his signature on the bar.
Thanks Jonathan (Home Delight Man)

Hey John
Nice Homelite, reminds me of my Dad's Super XL 130 I am currently working on. Do you have any specs on yours?
Tony

Hi Tony, the Super EZ is 2.5 cu. in. or 41cc. and is a real lil cracker.
Anyway, I have just about had it with these Americans.
I thought it would be a lucative venture to operate a loggers training course here in Ontario and they just rock out my chainsaws and dump every tree in sight and plow thru the bush with my skidder like a bull Moose. It simply isnt worth the 500$/night that I charge, plus they really go thru the groceries, not to mention the abuse I have to take when they call me a sawed off lil runt or an irreverent idiot, whatever that means.
Theys guys from the states are Monsters so I dont argue much, I just mumble in my beer as I wait for Robyn to come by to straighten these guys out.

The only safe place to be is in the kitchen or out in the woods somewhere with a Hobb's saw. Looks like Rick scalped me!
John the Cook

Tony, the SXL-130 is a nice saw. At 3.5 CID it's bigger than the Super EZ by a bit. I have a VI-123, which is the same except for anti-vibration features and a decomp valve.
