Hey guys,

It's been almost a year since the Rook (Hydra) came out. Seems like a good time to follow up and see what people's thoughts are on it. We've been hearing good feedback so far, but it never hurts to seek out more.

How is it holding up? Are you liking it?

For those of you on the fence, what's your biggest concern?

Hadn't even seen it before. Are they selling? I don't think I'd want a pulley on my bridge, a ring is just fine. Tried a petzl swivel for a while and didn't really like it either. Must be someone out there that wants a swivel pulley with 3 attachment points I guess. I quite like the hitchclimber pulley which I use a lot, and the pinto pulley which I also use a lot.

I'd love for someone to build a ratcheting pulley in aluminum with friction grabs in the pulley itself for purchase, and rated for 22kn minimum. I think it would be a big seller and spoke with SRT about it last year but they haven't really done anything about it though they expressed interest. I have something similar made out of plastic for yachting and I use it so much but it's only rated to about 12kn so unsuitable for life support.
