Yes Andy will pay attention to Dale and take his advice. He spent the first part of his time there in New Zealand with Jason Wynyard and Dion Lane and went to a couple shows with them while there. I think Tommy told me that the block was an 11 inch he cut at this show he won 1st and 2nd and he used one of Dales axes there. He sent his good axe home just recently Dale told him to save that one for here and he will be purchasing a couple more axes before he returns home. I guess my thread is boring according to Gypo huh?

well i can tell you , ! hour with any of those guys will be alot better for you to learn than 10 years with someone that thinks he knows but really do not, once you learn bad habits it is hard to change

I received an email from Andy and he said they are going to two shows today and I'll let you know once I hear how he did but he did not say which ones and as of last night they were in Katoomba. Have you heard anything from Dale? Oh yeah remember I know a bit about Dale too and I don't know if Dale was going but Andy mentioned something about a beach, I'm sure they were just going sight seeing huh??? What do you think???

Leslie, Annette sent them and email a couple of weeks ago but we haven't heard back from them yet. Dale has a house in Katoomba and that's where he stays when he's training. It's a little further away from the beach than CoogieBeach, his wive's home. I'll bet Dales got him whipped into shape. Keep us informed. Dennis

Errrr, chainsaw? Twice. Handsaw? 5 or 6 times.

I would just think that a chopping wound of that nature would be quite grevious, to say the least.

most cuts that i have heard of are around 10 stiches, just little cuts but there has been some big cuts

Yea cut your foot nope never done that but I did try to slice off most of it. Doctor was impressed with how clean the cut was and how I missed all the bones. 4 1/2 toes later and 7 weeks later I set two personal best times in the event that claimed part of my foot.

Hey Guys,
I've watched my nephew chop and most of the top guys in the event and so far have never seen him or any of the professionals cut theirselves, but I must say I did see one year a guy from oregon who wasn't too experienced cut his foot pretty bad so I just hope he is as accurate as I have seen and the luck stays with him that it never happens. EHP, I think Dale is behaving cause he is a married man now and what married man would look at nude women on a beach huh tell me that..........lol
