We won`t call it bragging, merely positive reflection on your son`s accomplishements. You have every right to be proud.

Yes Thanks Jokers, he is my nephew but I suppose since I have had a hand in on his upbringing I could consider him like a son since I don't have any of my own. Did I say according to his Uncle and we all know who that is he has a natural ability to become a good chain filer too????? Now really I'm not bragging........

It's okay Glens I know you guys were kidding and so was I. His newest email is he is purchasing a axe from Justin Beckett and he and the other guy he is traveling with from the states will be going to a place called Mossvale, wish I had some pics of some of his chops but I would imagine getting those devloped and sending them to me is the furthest thing on his mind, you know the beaches and all probably are a distraction.

Just talked to Cecil Star , i guess Johny Warker , Jack BrownJohn, Dan Hicks and Cecil are leaving tomorrow for the land down under to get ready for Sydney easter weekend, wish them well

Well I got an email today and the boy says he did good at a show they went to and is chopping faster. He said they trained with Dale from 9 to 5 yesterday and it went well. I don't think he will staying for the Royal Easter Show but maybe will be there for the first day of it anyways maybe he will run into your friends before he leaves, I know he has 3 or 4 more shows he's going to.

Got another email from my nephew and he went to two shows, the first one was in a place called Yass where he placed 1st in a novice chop and the relay team he chops for also placed 1st, he said he didn't chop as well at another one in Binnaway but he met with David Foster and said he is a very nice man.

Just thought you all might want to know my nephew has returned and it sounds like he had a great time, met alot of people. One of the fellows that put on a show in Australia had Andy and the other young fellow go to 4 or 5 grade schools and do demonstrations of them chopping which I thought was pretty cool. I will put some pics or maybe even a little video clip here in the next couple days. Some of the pics Andy took are from a mill he worked at that prepared the blocks for the Royal Easter Show in Sydney, those are pretty interesting since he worked there at that mill while in Australia in exchange for a place to stay and got to chop some blocks.

Here are a couple pics of my nephew and I'm not sure where they are at either New Zealand or Australia but I will ask him tomorrow and let you all know.

The first pic of my nephew is at Kangaroo Valley, the next one is at Milton where he won 1st in the handicap, and the video clip is in Binnaway.

Thanks for posting the updates Leslie. It`s interesting to follow his progress, make sure that you tell him that many people from AS are rooting for him.

Oh yeah, sorry about the son/nephew mixup.

Jokers,
Yeah I will let him know, I will be posting some other ones later on and I don't mind if anyone thinks he is my son as he practically is since I had a big hand in on raising him. His next deal he is going to is at the end of this month in Montana, I will keep everyone posted on his progress.
Thanks, Leslie
