i havent had one thing vibrate loose. All my bolts are loctited in.:msp_wink:

A friend of mine has a husky 61 thats melted two top ends due to the muff bolts coming out and not realizing it. I put a aftermarket top end kit on it and loctited the bolts, i am curious if they hold.

Not counting lots of exotic, hard to find, don't want to run'em if you have'em, kinds of saws-

MS200 or 020AVEQ (best in class- not even open for debate)
346NE
036 or 262 (your choice, one's a little lighter, the other is a little stronger)
7900 (considerably stronger than a 044 or 372 without much weight penalty)
125 (speaks for itself, but will do anything a 394/5 or 066 will do and then a lot more)

1. McCulloch Super Pro 125 w/ 101B racing motor
2. Dolmar 166
3. Homelite 2100S
4. Stihl 090 (or Contra S)
5. Poulan Pro 655BP

BTW I have all of them, and multiples of several..... lol

I did notice some bolts coming off my muffler on my 395XP. I put some blue loctite on them and they are good to go. My 395xp runs very smooth, no vibration problems that I notice.

Stihl 200t
Stihl MS261
Stihl MS440
Stihl MS660
Stihl MS880 must have lol.

I've run predominently Husky over the years, but they all vibrated to pieces, but hey my hands felt good! lol. Now I run Stihl and everything stays put, plus the flippy caps make it such a breeze to fill up.:msp_biggrin:

These lists are so darn senseless anyhow, but I still can't help myself.

242xp
254xp
262xp
272xp
Stihl 064

Owning the above in no particular order will have the boys :bowdown:

That's all for now folks, I will go to my room now................

Yeah, I'm a Stihl guy. The following list conforms to cc logic, and only includes saws I have run extensively, with the exception of the 3120, which I've run a few times but would LOVE to run extensively. :rock:

50cc = Husky 346
60cc = Stihl 034S
70cc = Stihl MS460
90cc = Stihl 066
100cc = Stihl 084 or Husqvarna 3120

Dont even consider a 660, get a 395xp husky. Trust me on this one:msp_smile: Also a ms261 is a great saw to have.

The 395xp is a great saw I own one but the MS660 is lighter and is more up to date than the 395. If you already have Stihl's stay with them. I have a lot of everything and it gets confusing. But that's just my opinion.
