I was the OP of the famous Neighbors burning railroad ties thread. I think he burned them all in 1 season. I'm not even sure he is using the outdoor burner at all anymore,,Propane is cheap these days.My neighbor was burning railroad ties in his OWB...fortunately, eventually, the place where he was getting them from found out what he was doing with them and cut him off...but not until after it went on a couple years! He had to buy carbide rescue chains to cut the ties...and I heard he couldn't sell the OWB because it was totally coated with a thick layer of goo inside.
Boy, I sure don't miss that's smell! Oooh that smell!
