This might be good, I got a call, emailed him my cell number along with a message I had cash.... Going through a divorce, his wife left him and he is moving into an apartment. It was his fathers saw and he passed away as an only son, "it is orange and has those big spike things on it near the motor". He does not know much about it other than it is kind of big and heavy, but a good saw. He used it last year to cut down a "big" oak tree.... Heading in at 7:00pm to take a look at it, right when he gets home from work ....

I am hoping 066 !!

Yeah, I guess I better do some quick homework on Fleabay and see with the family of saws are worth, not knowing what model it is. We did not talk money, but I don't think he wants much. Probably a 028/029 or 038 or something, but I better go take a look. I will post an update later tonight.

Well it was orange, how about a Echo 660EVL ?

I got it cheap, just not sure what to do with it.

I also bought a Poulan Pro leaf blower, boots, and he tossed in a shop light.

$20 and it was mine.... I will post a pic tomorrow, kept inside and only missing the chain guard (white plastic piece).

I had a 550EVL for a few years and it was the easiest starting saw i have ever ran. it started on 1 pull most every time.

Good Find.

That is a neat looking saw, you done good! I woulda lapped that right up too.

Yeah I was really disappointed it was not a 066 or something. I guess the look on my face was disappointing, then I said it really was not what I was looking for.... He said what's it worth, I said I had no idea, maybe he could get $50 or so on eBay... He said $20 and you can sell it on eBay for a profit. I did not even jump on it right away, and eventually it came up again as I was looking at some other items, and then I gave in.....
