G'day Darren ,The chicom chain I used stayed sharp longer than I expected, It was just the amount that it stretched that was annoying.
I suppose being cheap it's never going to be as good as the big brands, I'll just have remember to tighten the chain a little more than I usually do

Funny how a few people on AS have doubted that a cooling chain can bend a crank. Wayne has got a saw he showed me that would shut them up immediately :)

Actually I have three with bent crank ends ,a Stihl 034 being the worst.. which is a PIA because I wanted to sell it.

Well I had planned on upgrading to a 'you bute' 461R but i'll wait for a few months to see what others think about the 461...

This is a Oleo Mac I bought with the crank end snapped off, I'm guessing someone went anti clockwise with a rattle gun trying to remove the clutch.

I got caught out with a Pioneer 3270.. for some reason they use a LH thread on the flywheel nut :msp_confused:

Talking about bars Darren,
IMO the GB Ti bars hold up heaps better than the Stihl ES Light bars in dry dirty wood,i think i will leave it on one of the 441Cs just for felling green wood. This is wear the less weight helps anyway not blocking.
Im likeing the sound of that 460 V 441C Ported cut off comp. We talking green or dry wood ?.
I just noticed you were cutting coast grey box,i was cutting that today have never heard of it untill today.

Bit of sticky tape mate and she'll be good to go :)

I agree mate. It would be a game man to say that there is a single bar tip out there better than a GB Pro Top or Ti. The GB Hard Tops have awesome nose sprockets too :)

A couple of attachments are missing old son.
No photos of the 261 or 460's compression :(
Not bad comp on the Husky though. That thing was around 150-155psi until I dropped out the base gasket and had a small pop up machined.
